FISSURE Playground 1 — Standout Performers

Yi "JamYoung" Yang’s dominance was undeniable—his 1.40 rating outshone all others, and no TYLOO teammate came close to matching his level. Meanwhile, device and jabbi powered Astralis’ run to the final, earning them rightful recognition among the top performers. 

IEM Cologne — A Star-Studded Show

Spirit’s donk lived up to expectations, being named MVP and securing a spot in the All‑Star team. Sharing the EVP honors with him were torzsi and b1t, serving as AWPer and Anchor respectively. The rest of the All‑Star five included:

ropz as Closer — outperforming notable contenders like zont1x and Spinx

chopper as In‑Game Leader — commended for a stellar 63.5% round win rate on defense and for Spirit being the only playoff team with over 50% T‑side win rate following economy updates

Context and Additional Insights

Spirit entered 2025 as the world’s number‑one team after triumphing at the Shanghai Major, though their dominance was soon contested by Vitality. Sporting an MVP-caliber performance at Cologne, donk reaffirmed his place in the Player of the Year race.
