Shanghai, August 31, 2025 — At the Perfect World CS Challenge Series 1, 3DMAX emerged victorious, defeating Chinese favorites TYLOO in the grand final to claim the championship. The six-team LAN event in Shanghai featured a total prize pool of $37,579, with 3DMAX taking home $20,877 (TYLOO received $8,351 as runners-up) 

In the final, 3DMAX secured a clean sweep, winning 2–0 over TYLOO with scorelines 13–11 on Nuke and 19–15 on Train. This strong performance helped lift 3DMAX to fifth on the European VRS (Valve Regional Standings)****, significantly improving their chances for a Major invite with just one month remaining until invitations are finalized.

This victory also marks continued momentum for 3DMAX under new in-game leader Filip “Graviti” Brankovic, who took over earlier at the Esports World Cup. “As a team we needed to make a change because we felt like we had not been improving for some time,” explained Lucas “Lucky” Chastang, who credited the IGL switch for revitalizing their form.

Across seven maps played during the event, Lucky posted an impressive 1.34 rating, top fragging with 53 kills and averaging 104 ADR, including his performance in the finalMeanwhile, TYLOO’s JamYoung, who had been instrumental in their FISSURE Playground victory, was held to a 0.97 rating and a 3–9 record in opening duels on Nuke.

Per HLTV’s final VRS standings, TYLOO remains at ninth, while Lynn Vision, the bronze medalists in this tournament, moved up to thirteenth, nearly securing their spots for the upcoming Major as China’s top two squads.
