Corrections Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2025
Our standard
Accuracy is paramount. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and clearly.
Types of changes
- Correction: A factual error is fixed; we add a Correction note with what changed and when.
- Clarification: Ambiguous language is clarified; we add a Clarification note.
- Update: New material substantially advances the story; we add an Update note with timestamp.
- Retraction: In rare cases of fundamentally flawed reporting, we remove the article and publish a Retraction notice.
Workflow
- Report received ([email protected]) → ticket created.
- Reviewer not involved in the original piece is assigned.
- Verification against sources/documents/interviews.
- Note added with timestamp and editor initials.
- Social posts corrected where feasible.
How to request a correction
