MIBR’s Rebuilt CS2 Squad Secure First Title at BetBoom Circuit X in Curitiba

Made in Brazil (MIBR) have captured their first trophy with their revamped Counter-Strike 2 lineup at the BetBoom Circuit X Redemption Curitiba 2026 event, marking a strong early-season result for the organization’s newly configured squad.

Sweeping the Local LAN Field

In the 16-team Curitiba LAN event — which featured a $25,000 prize pool and a Bo5 grand final format — MIBR defeated Gaimin Gladiators 3-0 in the championship match without dropping a map.

This victory followed a campaign that saw the team top group play, eliminate Yawara and RED Canids en route to the playoff bracket, and ultimately dominate the final decider on LAN.

Key Performers & MVP

While MIBR’s collective performance stood out, Felipe “insani” Yuji earned tournament MVP honors — topping the statistical boards with a 1.56 overall rating — underscoring the impact of the team’s Brazilian core.

New Lineup: Background & Structure

This trophy is the first competitive success for MIBR’s updated roster after significant changes during the offseason:

  • Linus “LNZ” Holtäng (from HEROIC) joined as a key addition and took over in-game leader duties.

  • Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo was signed from RED Canids, bringing fresh firepower to the roster.

  • Nestor “LETN1” Tanić was appointed as head coach, completing the new leadership core.

These changes replaced former members exit and Qikert, completing a fresh international-oriented team lineup.

At the Curitiba event, MIBR’s active roster featured: insani, brnz4n, kl1m (loan), venomzera and LNZ.

Season Context & Next Steps

Despite the late-2025 upheavals, MIBR’s new squad has quickly adjusted — playing 35 maps in just 12 days across four events before Curitiba.

The success also improves their position on the Valve Regional Standings, moving from 55th to around 29th after accumulating ranking points through recent tournaments.

Following the Curitiba triumph, MIBR are scheduled to compete next at FiRe CONTER Season 1 in Buenos Aires, Argentina — joining other notable South American sides such as Fluxo and Imperial for further competitive action.
