Legacy have officially announced the departure of head coach Olavo “chucky” Napoleão, bringing an end to his four-year tenure with the roster that dates back to 2021.

chucky had been leading the same long-term Brazilian project through several organizational changes, including its time under GODSENT and later 00NATION, before the lineup ultimately became Legacy. His exit marks one of the most notable coaching changes of the current CS2 off-season.

During chucky’s time as head coach, Legacy consistently remained competitive at the international level, particularly in tier-2 events. The team secured several tournament victories and notable placements, including:

• Multiple tier-2 tournament titles

• CS2 Asia Championships 2025 champions

• Second place at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025

Legacy’s final event with chucky was the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, where the team finished in the 25–27th place range. Shortly after the Major, the organization confirmed the coaching change.

Possible replacement: RiVAS

At the time of publication, Legacy have not officially named a new head coach. However, reports from Brazilian Counter-Strike outlets indicate that Bruno “RiVAS” Rivetti is the leading candidate to take over the role. RiVAS has prior coaching experience within the Brazilian CS scene, including work with Young Gods.

The organization has not disclosed the reasons behind chucky’s departure.
