Final Budapest Major Stage 1 Matches Set: FaZe, NRG, Imperial, PARIVISION, Legacy, Fluxo Fight for Last Three Spots
The final 2–2 decider matches of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 — Stage 1 are locked in. FaZe vs Fluxo, NRG vs Imperial, and PARIVISION vs Legacy will determine the last three teams to reach Stage 2, while the losers are eliminated from the Major.
FaZe vs Fluxo – Biggest Headliner of the Day
FaZe survived elimination with a hard-fought win over RED Canids, led by a dominant performance from frozen, while Fluxo enter the decider after a dramatic fall from a 2–0 start to back-to-back heavy losses.
Earlier in the event, FlyQuest’s jks warned that Fluxo “reached 2–0 for a reason,” while FaZe continue to rely on star power from broky, frozen, and Twistzz as they look to avoid an early Major exit.
NRG vs Imperial – NA Stand-In Miracle Run on the Line
NRG, playing with coach daps standing in for nitr0, stunned the Swiss stage early with wins over NIP and FaZe but failed two attempts to qualify. fnatic’s jackasmo admitted he “thought it would be easier,” acknowledging NRG’s surprising form despite a stand-in.
Imperial bounced back from heavy losses to FlyQuest and fnatic thanks to a 2–0 victory over The Huns. VINI noted the team’s struggles in afterplants but said advancing into the 2–2 pool was “crucial” for restoring confidence.
PARIVISION vs Legacy – Jame’s Structured Style vs Brazilian Firepower
PARIVISION, led by Jame, eliminated GamerLegion in a key 2–2 victory. Legacy entered the event as one of the strongest Stage 1 teams, but B8’s upset win over them pushed the Brazilian side into this last-chance match.
Legacy’s early expectations were high, with lux saying they belonged among “teams that can win the Major,” but consistency has been an issue through the Swiss stage.
Qualified Teams So Far
FlyQuest (3–0) – jks praised the team’s improved depth and mentality.
M80 (3–0) – HexT said opponents would be “stupid” not to ban Mirage.
NIP, B8, fnatic (3–1 / 3–2) – all secured Stage 2 spots in a tense middle round.
