BC.Game to Announce New CS2 Player on April 25 — Roster Changes, s1mple Era Struggles, and What We Know
BC.Game will reveal a new Counter-Strike 2 signing on April 25 as the organization continues a major roster rebuild following disappointing results in 2026.
BC.Game are preparing to officially introduce a new CS2 player on April 25, according to statements from CEO Ali Muhanned. The executive hinted that the incoming player previously ranked in HLTV’s Top 20 — and even Top 10 — and has experience playing for a world-leading team.
While the organization has not confirmed the player’s identity, the announcement comes during a critical transition period for BC.Game’s Counter-Strike division.
BC.Game Roster Changes: MUTiRiS and aragornN Benched
BC.Game recently made significant roster moves, benching Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes and António “aragornN” Barbosa on April 14.
In an official statement, Muhanned confirmed:
“We have not yet achieved the results our fans and community expect from us.”
The decision followed a series of underwhelming performances and marks the beginning of a deeper rebuild around the team’s remaining core.
Poor Results at PGL Bucharest 2026 Accelerated Changes
BC.Game’s struggles were highlighted at PGL Bucharest 2026, where the team finished 1–3 and exited early.
Their only win came against a weakened opponent, while losses to stronger competition — including FOKUS — exposed ongoing issues with consistency and coordination.
MUTiRiS Speaks on Team Issues
Following the elimination, MUTiRiS openly discussed the team’s internal problems in an interview:
“We’re not finding consistency… misunderstood in a lot of situations.”
He also clarified his role within the squad:
“Here I’m more the IGL, I’m not the captain.”
The comments pointed to deeper structural and communication issues inside the lineup — problems that ultimately led to the roster shake-up.
High Expectations Around s1mple and electroNic Have Yet to Deliver
At the start of 2026, BC.Game built one of the most talked-about lineups in CS2 by signing a core featuring:
Oleksandr Kostyliev
Denis Sharipov
Former SAW trio led by MUTiRiS
The project also added legendary coach Wiktor Wojtas.
Despite the star power, the roster failed to achieve stable results, currently sitting outside the top tier of global rankings.
BC.Game Admit Chemistry Issues
Even before the latest roster changes, BC.Game publicly acknowledged internal struggles.
After withdrawing from a spring event, the organization stated:
“Our full focus now is to fix our chemistry and make sure we deliver for the future of this project.”
This admission reinforced the idea that the issues were not purely mechanical, but also team-based.
More Changes Ahead: IEM Atlanta and CS Asia Championships
BC.Game are expected to continue adjusting their lineup ahead of upcoming events, including:
IEM Atlanta
CS Asia Championships
CEO Muhanned has already confirmed that Maidar “nocries” Baldanov will act as a substitute player for one of the tournaments.
What to Expect From the April 25 Announcement
The upcoming reveal could be a defining moment for BC.Game. With two players benched, inconsistent results, and rising pressure from fans, the organization is betting on a high-profile addition to stabilize the roster.
If Muhanned’s hints are accurate, the new signing could bring top-tier experience and proven success at the highest level of CS2.
Whether that will be enough to revive BC.Game’s ambitious project remains the key question heading into the second half of 2026.
