headtr1ck enters free agency

Ukrainian Counter-Strike 2 player Daniil “headtr1ck” Valitov has officially become a free agent, meaning he is now able to join a new team without any contractual restrictions after previously being transfer-listed and benched by B8.

The 21-year-old sniper had already been removed from the active B8 lineup earlier in 2026 as the organization began evaluating new options for the AWP role. Both the player and the club agreed to explore opportunities elsewhere, placing him on the transfer list while B8 trialed potential replacements.

With the expiration of the transfer process and no buyout required, headtr1ck has now entered the open market and can negotiate directly with teams looking for a primary AWPer.

B8 roster changes after the benching

Following headtr1ck’s removal from the active roster, B8 opted to promote academy talent Mykhailo-Nazarii “segukawa” Bybel to the main lineup, filling the AWP position on a permanent basis.

The move marked a transition period for the Ukrainian organization, which began reshaping its roster after several months of mixed results in international tournaments.

Career path: from NAVI Junior to tier-one competition

Headtr1ck first gained recognition as a promising AWPer within the NAVI Junior academy system before earning a move to Ninjas in Pyjamas in early 2023.

His time with the Swedish organization provided him with valuable experience at the top level of international Counter-Strike, competing in major events and facing some of the world’s strongest teams.

After his stint with Ninjas in Pyjamas, the Ukrainian player continued his career with B8, joining a lineup built around Ukrainian talent and competing in qualifiers and international events, including appearances in the qualification cycles for Major championships.

Player profile and statistics

Born in 2004, headtr1ck is considered one of the younger AWPers in the professional CS2 scene. Over the course of his career he has accumulated a solid statistical record with a 1.14 HLTV Rating 2.0 across hundreds of maps, reflecting consistent individual performance in competitive play.

Despite limited official matches in recent months following his benching, the Ukrainian sniper remains an experienced option for teams seeking a young but proven AWP player.

What’s next for headtr1ck

With free agency now confirmed, headtr1ck is free to negotiate directly with organizations ahead of upcoming CS2 tournaments and roster shuffle periods. His combination of tier-one experience with Ninjas in Pyjamas and time spent leading the AWP role in B8 could make him an attractive candidate for teams looking to strengthen their sniper position.

Given the ongoing roster changes across the CS2 scene, the 21-year-old Ukrainian may soon find himself returning to competition under a new banner.
