TYLOO Shock MOUZ at CS Asia Championships 2026 in Major Opening-Day Upset
Chinese powerhouse TYLOO produced the first major upset of CS Asia Championships 2026 after defeating MOUZ 13-7 on Inferno in the opening round of the tournament in Shanghai.
Coming into the event, MOUZ were considered one of the strongest teams in attendance and one of only three top-10 VRS-ranked squads at CAC 2026. TYLOO, meanwhile, entered the event as regional representatives hoping to capitalize on home advantage. By the end of the match, the Chinese side had completely outplayed the European favorites.
The result immediately became one of the biggest storylines of the opening day of CS Asia Championships 2026.
TYLOO Dominate Inferno Against MOUZ
Inferno was left as the decider after the veto process removed several comfort picks from both teams. TYLOO quickly took control of the map with an aggressive and highly coordinated T side.
The Chinese squad stormed to a massive 10-2 halftime lead, repeatedly punishing MOUZ’s defensive rotations and denying them economic stability. MOUZ managed to keep slim hopes alive after winning the second-half pistol round, but TYLOO instantly shut down the comeback attempt and secured the final rounds needed to close the game 13-7.
Moseyuh Leads TYLOO to Victory
Qianhao “Moseyuh” Chen delivered a standout performance in the TYLOO vs MOUZ clash, finishing the map with a 17-6 K-D and a 1.65 Rating 3.0.
TYLOO’s firepower remained consistent across the roster:
- Moseyuh — 17-6, 1.65 rating
- Zero — 1.55 rating
- JamYoung — 1.40 rating
For MOUZ, Adrian “xelex” Vincze was the only player to finish above a 1.00 rating. Star AWPer Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás struggled throughout the match, ending Inferno with a 6-16 scoreline and a 0.43 rating.
The defeat puts immediate pressure on MOUZ in the tournament’s lower bracket.
CAC 2026 Opening-Day Results
TYLOO were not the only team to impress during the first round of CS Asia Championships 2026.
B8 Defeat Ninjas in Pyjamas
B8 secured a 13-9 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas on Ancient. Despite impressive individual moments from NiP — including a 1v5 pistol clutch by Rasmus “sjuush” Beck and an ace from Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara — B8 controlled the game behind an incredible performance from Andrii “npl” Kukharskyi, who finished 26-13 with a 1.91 rating.
The MongolZ Crush Lynn Vision
The MongolZ continued their strong 2026 form with a dominant 13-3 win over Lynn Vision, reinforcing their status as one of Asia’s fastest-rising Counter-Strike teams.
MIBR and PARIVISION Start Strong
MIBR defeated 3DMAX on Anubis after what Felipe “insani” Yuji described as an “intensive and productive bootcamp.” The Brazilian star added that MIBR arrived in Shanghai as “a renewed and much-improved team.”
PARIVISION also opened the tournament with a win against Liquid, who were forced to use coach Viktor “flashie” Tamás Bea as a stand-in due to visa issues affecting Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa.
TYLOO Continue Strong 2026 Momentum
The victory over MOUZ continues TYLOO’s impressive run in regional competition. The Chinese squad qualified for CS Asia Championships 2026 through the Asia Closed Qualifier, where they completed an undefeated upper-bracket campaign.
With strong home support and growing confidence, TYLOO now emerge as one of the most dangerous dark horses at CAC 2026.
