Everything you need to know before the LAN in Malta (Oct 15–19, 2025).
Teams & Format
Eight teams will meet in Malta, split into two groups of four. The event opens with a GSL-style best-of-three (BO3) group stage; the top two from each group advance to a single-elimination BO3 playoff with a third-place decider, while the grand final will be played in a BO5 format.
Group A: FURIA, The MongolZ, OG, 9z
Group B: Natus Vincere, Aurora, Imperial, Venom
Schedule (Oct 15–19)
The group stage runs Wednesday through Friday, with playoffs on Saturday and Sunday.
Opening day matches (October 15):
FURIA vs OG – 10:30
The MongolZ vs 9z – 13:30
NAVI vs Imperial – 16:30
Aurora vs Venom – 19:30

Prize Pool — $850,000 Finals within a $1M Season
The Malta LAN finals will feature $850,000 in total prize money, divided between club and player shares. The player share is distributed as follows:
1st place — $200,000
2nd place — $60,000
3rd/4th — $28,000 / $20,000
5–8th — $8,000 each
Thunderpick’s 2025 season totals $1,000,000, including the Malta finals and the online regional series leading up to the event.
