tN1R on Team Spirit Academy’s insults toward Imperial’s women’s team: “They’re kids. People make mistakes.”

October 22, 2025 — Team Spirit rifler Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich addressed the controversy around Spirit’s academy roster after members of Team Spirit Academy White posted vulgar, sexist messages in the in-game chat during a scrim against Imperial’s women’s team. Speaking on Twitch, tN1R condemned the behavior but urged the community to treat it as a teachable moment for the young players: “They’re kids… people make mistakes. They’re still growing. What they did was wrong, but it could have been handled privately with the academy staff instead of being dragged into the public spotlight.”

What happened

The incident occurred on October 21 during a practice match. A Spirit Academy player wrote in all-chat (translation): “[k0gaSs] said he would ‘give it to each of you in the mouth.’” Imperial captain Viktoria “tory” Kazieva shared a screenshot on social media and asked Spirit’s management to act. Shortly after, Dmitriy “Soul3” Bukhtiyev, Team Spirit’s academy manager, publicly apologized and said the players involved would face “the strictest disciplinary measures.”

Independent English-language reporting confirmed the apology and disciplinary intent, noting that the screenshot spread quickly across X and Reddit.

Who was named

Russian outlet Igromania reported that the messages in question referenced Artur “fernando_mag” Kaliuzhnyi and Kirill “k0gaSs” Emelyanov. (Team Spirit’s official discipline details have not been disclosed.)

Player and staff reactions (direct quotes)

Viktoria “tory” Kazieva (Imperial) — after posting the screenshot:

“This is how Spirit’s academy behaved in a scrim against our team… I hope the organization takes action for such unprofessional conduct.”

Dmitriy “Soul3” Bukhtiyev (Head of Academy, Team Spirit) — public statement:

“Team Spirit stands for high ethical standards… In connection with this incident, the players will face the strictest disciplinary measures. On behalf of the organization, we apologize to tory and her team.”

Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich (Team Spirit) — on stream, urging perspective:

“They’re kids… it’s bad that they wrote it, but they’re not fully grown adults yet. People make mistakes; they need to understand why this is wrong and not repeat it.”
