ScrunK praises Senzu’s “champion’s mentality” despite BC.Game’s early IEM Atlanta exit

ScrunK Praises Senzu’s “Champion’s Mentality” After BC.Game’s IEM Atlanta Elimination

BC.Game may have exited IEM Atlanta 2026 without winning a map, but stand-in in-game leader Robin “ScrunK” Röpke believes the team has already found a major positive in Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold.

Following BC.Game’s elimination from the tournament, ScrunK spoke to HLTV about the Mongolian rifler’s impact on the lineup, praising both his attitude and professionalism during a difficult debut event.

“You can tell Senzu has a champion’s mentality,” ScrunK said in an interview with HLTV.

The German veteran also described Senzu as “super humble,” highlighting the 19-year-old’s willingness to adapt despite joining the roster on short notice.

Senzu Joins BC.Game on Loan From The MongolZ

Senzu officially joined BC.Game on loan from The MongolZ in April 2026 as part of the organization’s ongoing rebuild.

The move followed the benching of António “aragornN” Barbosa and Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes, two experienced players who had struggled to stabilize the project during the first half of the season.

At the same time, BC.Game moved assistant coach ScrunK into the active lineup as a temporary IGL for both IEM Atlanta and the upcoming CS Asia Championships.

According to HLTV, the organization plans to explore permanent leadership options after the Major cycle concludes.

BC.Game Continue to Struggle in CS2

The roster changes came after several disappointing tournament results in 2026.

Earlier this year, BC.Game withdrew from ROG Journey Spring, with the organization publicly admitting that team chemistry had become a serious issue.

“Our full focus now is to fix our chemistry,” BC.Game stated at the time.

Former captain MUTiRiS also previously discussed internal problems in an HLTV interview, revealing that he often had to take over leadership duties inside the server.

“Here I’m more the IGL, I’m not the captain,” MUTiRiS explained.

BC.Game Eliminated by Vitality and B8 at IEM Atlanta 2026

BC.Game opened their IEM Atlanta 2026 campaign against Team Vitality and suffered a 2-0 defeat.

Vitality secured victories on Mirage (13-7) and Dust2 (13-10), exposing many of BC.Game’s communication and coordination issues.

The team was later knocked out of the tournament by B8 after another 2-0 series.

B8 dominated Overpass 13-2 before narrowly closing Mirage 13-11 to eliminate BC.Game from the competition.

Senzu Emerges as BC.Game’s Bright Spot

Despite the disappointing results, Senzu finished the tournament as BC.Game’s highest-rated player statistically, immediately becoming one of the roster’s few reliable fragging threats.

His aggressive rifling style and experience with The MongolZ have already generated discussion within the Counter-Strike community about whether BC.Game should attempt to secure a longer-term deal.

Meanwhile, ScrunK admitted the current lineup still requires significant work before it can compete consistently against top-tier opposition.

According to the stand-in IGL, BC.Game need:

Better communication

More structured protocols

Additional theory preparation

Improved teamwork under pressure

ScrunK also stated that the organization will likely evaluate multiple roster options in the coming months before deciding on a permanent direction.

What’s Next for BC.Game?

BC.Game now head into the remainder of the 2026 Counter-Strike season facing major questions about leadership, roster stability, and long-term identity.

While the team’s results at IEM Atlanta were disappointing, Senzu’s arrival may have given the organization a valuable building block for the future.

For now, however, BC.Game remain a roster in transition — and the pressure to improve quickly continues to grow.
