JT Admits Passion UA Are “In Limbo” After IEM Atlanta Exit Amid CS2 Roster Chaos

JT Says Passion UA Are “In Limbo” After Disappointing IEM Atlanta Run

Passion UA captain Johnny “JT” Theodosiou admitted the team is currently “in limbo” following an early exit from IEM Atlanta 2026, as the squad continues to struggle with roster instability, limited practice time, and inconsistent performances in CS2.

The international lineup finished last at the tournament after losses to NAVI and SINNERS, extending a difficult stretch that has defined much of Passion UA’s 2026 season.

Speaking to HLTV after the defeat, JT explained that the team’s biggest issue is the inability to establish long-term structure due to constant roster changes.

“Right now we’re kinda just in limbo.”

According to JT, Passion UA repeatedly fail to convert strong moments into complete map performances because communication and coordination break down during critical rounds.

Passion UA Continue to Struggle With Roster Instability

Roster instability has become one of the defining storylines around Passion UA in 2026. Over recent months, the organization has undergone multiple lineup changes involving several key players.

Among the biggest moves was the departure of Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, who joined BC.Game on loan after a short but impactful stint with Passion UA. During his time on the roster, Senzu reportedly maintained one of the team’s highest ratings despite limited preparation with the squad.

Earlier in the season, JT also revealed the roster had barely practiced together consistently.

“We don’t even have three weeks of practice with Senzu.”

The lack of continuity has made it difficult for Passion UA to expand their tactical playbook or build chemistry inside the server.

sdy Joins Passion UA Ahead of IEM Atlanta

To address the roster issues, Passion UA brought in Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev on loan from ENCE shortly before IEM Atlanta.

However, head coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen later confirmed the team had only a few days of practice with the Ukrainian rifler before the tournament began.

“We can still be competitive with three days of practice with someone like sdy.”

Despite the limited preparation, JT praised sdy’s communication, experience, and understanding of the game, highlighting the former NAVI player as a positive addition during a difficult period.

The captain specifically noted that sdy’s previous in-game leadership experience helped the team remain structured in stressful moments.

Passion UA Face Uncertain Future in CS2

While Passion UA still possess individually talented players, the team’s long-term future remains uncertain unless the organization finalizes a stable starting five.

The squad has shown flashes of promise throughout the year, but inconsistent lineups and constant role adjustments have prevented the project from gaining momentum against top-tier CS2 competition.

For now, JT believes the priority is simple: establish a permanent roster, build chemistry through practice, and finally move beyond the instability that has defined Passion UA’s season.
