s1mple Reacts to BC.Game’s New CS2 Roster: “I Really Like the Team, But There’s Still Work to Do”

Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev has commented publicly on BC.Game’s newly rebuilt Counter-Strike 2 roster, sharing his first impressions after several days of intensive practice. The Ukrainian star described the atmosphere inside the team as positive, while stressing that the lineup still has a lot of work ahead.

s1mple’s first impressions after scrims

According to s1mple, the team has already completed three full days of practice, spending up to 10 hours per day in scrims. His verdict was cautiously optimistic:

“I really like the team — but there’s still work to do, of course.”

He also shared a lighthearted moment from practice, noting that BC.Game played three scrims on Train on the first day, after which the map was removed from the pool. s1mple joked that “maybe trains don’t like me.”

In the same message, s1mple clarified the team’s near-term competitive plans. While he initially expected their first official matches to take place at IEM Kraków, the schedule may change, with BC.Game potentially starting their run earlier through IEM Rio qualifiers.

BC.Game’s new CS2 roster explained

BC.Game’s rebuild became official earlier this month and centers around a mix of elite star power and a proven European core.

electroNic

Christopher MUTiRiS Fernandes

Adones krazy Nobre

António aragornN Barbosa

The last three players previously competed together for SAW, bringing an established system and in-game structure to the roster.

After the signings were announced, s1mple welcomed his new teammates on social media, writing:

“Welcome to the team! We have a lot of work ahead — see you in Kraków. VAMOS!”

TaZ joins as head coach

Shortly after the roster announcement, BC.Game confirmed that TaZ has taken over as head coach. The legendary Polish veteran replaced Luka “emi” Vuković, who departed the organization in December.

TaZ’s arrival adds significant experience to the project, with BC.Game clearly aiming to accelerate the team’s progress and stability ahead of top-tier events.

Community and pro-player reactions

The rebuild around s1mple has not gone unnoticed by the wider CS2 scene. Professional players and analysts have pointed out that BC.Game is likely to receive high-profile tournament invites, but expectations for immediate results remain cautious due to limited preparation time and the need for adaptation within the new lineup.

What’s next for BC.Game and s1mple?

BC.Game is listed among the teams set to compete in the IEM Kraków Play-In, a tournament featuring a $1,000,000 prize pool and scheduled for late January–early February. However, as s1mple himself noted, the team’s first official matches may come earlier through the IEM Rio qualification process.

With a superstar duo in s1mple and electroNic, a cohesive former SAW core, and TaZ behind the scenes, BC.Game’s CS2 roster is already one of the most closely watched projects of the early 2026 season.
