Passion UA Complete Roster Overhaul, Bring in AWP Specialist “try” and Mongolian Talent “Senzu”

Passion UA have announced significant roster changes, bringing two new players into the lineup in a bid to boost performance after a difficult start to the year. The additions mark a notable shift for the Ukrainian-backed organisation owned by footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Roster Changes

Passion UA have signed Santino “try” Rigal, a 21-year-old Argentine AWPer previously playing for Imperial, to take over primary AWPing duties. The team has also added 19-year-old Mongolian rifler Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, joining from The MongolZ where he was benched in late 2025.

Passion UA have not officially confirmed which players will depart the active lineup to make room for the newcomers, but it is expected that former AWP specialist Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli has been moved to the bench. Other reports also list hallzerk as the most likely player to give up his starting spot following the update.

Background on the New Signings

Santino “try” Rigal

  • Try will be experiencing playing outside the South American scene for the first time in his career.

  • During his tenure with Imperial, he was consistently one of the team’s top performers, posting a high average rating and participating in multiple Majors and regional events.

  • He is expected to immediately assume the AWP role within Passion UA’s strategies.

Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold

  • Senzu arrives highly rated, having been named the 13th-best player of 2025 by HLTV before his departure from The MongolZ.

  • Although he expressed openness to transitioning to an AWPing role, he will continue focusing on rifling duties with Passion UA.

Context: Team Performance

These changes come on the heels of an underwhelming early 2026 for Passion UA. The squad has yet to secure a series victory at major international LAN events this year, including BLAST Bounty Season 1 and the IEM Katowice 2026 Stage 1. Strengthening the roster with try and Senzu indicates a clear effort to reverse that trend.

Current Lineup Snapshot

The updated core starting five is now expected to be:

  • Kvem

  • Grim

  • jT

  • try

  • Senzu
With hallzerk moved to the bench and the rest of the squad unchanged.
