PARIVISION stun NIP in double overtime to reach Stage 3 of the Budapest Major

PARIVISION’s miracle run at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 continues as they eliminated Ninjas in Pyjamas 2–0 (Dust2 19–16, Train 16–12) to advance to Stage 3, sending NIP home after yet another overtime collapse.

Both maps went to extra rounds, repeating a painful pattern for NIP, who had also lost both maps to FaZe in overtime earlier in Stage 2.

NIP suffer another OT meltdown

NIP held five map points on Dust2 and a 6–2 lead on Train, but couldn’t convert either advantage. Despite strong performances from r1nkle (1.22 rating) and sjuush, late-round errors again cost them qualification.

PARIVISION, ranked around #38, upset the #32-ranked Ninjas behind big games from nota (1.67 rating) and AW, closing out both overtimes with disciplined calling from Jame.

A fairytale run for PARIVISION

The CIS squad started all the way in Stage 1, survived a double-overtime thriller vs Legacy, then beat Liquid and Aurora in Stage 2 before taking down NIP.

IGL Jame described the run earlier in the event as:
