OG, Imperial, Venom, and 9z Secure Spots at Thunderpick World Championship 2025

The lineup for the eight-team Thunderpick World Championship 2025 LAN event is now complete. After the conclusion of the closed qualifier, OG, Imperial, Venom, and 9z joined the four directly invited teams. The tournament will run from October 15 to 19 in Malta and features a total prize pool of US$850,000, with the winner taking home US$500,000.

The four directly invited teams are:

Qualifier Outcomes

In the closed qualifier, 16 teams competed for four slots. These four came out on top:

• OG: They opened with a 2-0 victory over M80, followed by a 2-1 win against BIG to secure their spot.

• Venom: The Polish side upset Ninjas in Pyjamas, then defeated Nemiga in convincing fashion. Their campaign was led strongly by Kamil “Sobol” Sobolewski.

• Imperial: The Brazilian team beat TNL, then edged out Legacy in two closely fought maps to qualify.

• 9z: The South American squad showed strong form, first overcoming BetBoom, then dispatching PARIVISION. This marks their first international LAN event of 2025.
