MIBR confirm kl1m ruled out of PGL Masters Bucharest; academy AWPer brn$ steps in
MIBR will attend PGL Masters Bucharest without Klimentii “kl1m” Krivosheev after the Russian AWPer failed to secure a visa for Romania. The organization will promote academy sniper Bruno “brn$” de Araújo as a stand-in for the event.
Dust2 Brasil received the official comment from MIBR’s press office: “Due to visa issues, the athlete kl1m will not play PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. With that, we decided to promote brnS from MIBR Academy to complete our lineup for the competition.”
HLTV’s report adds that brn$ has represented MIBR Academy across two stints and has posted solid recent form, while MIBR’s updated lineup for Bucharest is: exit, brnz4n, insani, brn$, and Qikert, with jnt as coach.
Recent form and context
Since adding kl1m and Qikert late summer, MIBR captured three South American titles (ECL S50 SA events, FERJEE Rush, and Circuit X S1), with kl1m averaging standout numbers in that stretch. However, his level dipped at CS Asia Championship.
MIBR previously issued “internal disciplinary sanctions” to kl1m in September for an “unacceptable” remark during a FACEIT match, noting he would enter a racial and cultural literacy program and that repeat offenses would not be tolerated. (This incident is unrelated to the visa denial but is part of recent team news.)
