Legacy lift first international trophy at CS Asia Championships (CAC)

Legacy captured their first-ever international LAN title by edging 3DMAX in a five–map grand final at the CS Asia Championships 2025 in Shanghai, closing out the decider on Ancient to seal a breakthrough victory for Brazilian Counter-Strike.

The best-of-five swung back and forth before Legacy “came into their own on Ancient,” where Bruno “latto” Rebelatto and Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer powered an assertive CT half and a ruthless finish on the T side to secure the trophy.

MVP and accolades

latto claimed his first career MVP medal (HLTV/1xBet bronze tier) for his series-long impact in Legacy’s title run — a personal milestone that capped the org’s maiden international trophy.

The road to the title

Legacy’s path featured resilience in spades. They eliminated FUT in a three-map quarter-final (Mirage 8–13, Inferno 19–16, Dust2 13–8), then rebounded from a 2–13 opening loss on Dust2 to defeat HEROIC in the semi-final (2–1) and book their place in Sunday’s final.

What the players said

latto (MVP) — on the win and his progression: “It was a very difficult tournament for us… To win our first tournament and be MVP… I know I am going forward in the steps of my career.”

lux (IGL/captain) — on team culture: “We need to pressure ourselves to be better, but we don’t need to be hard on our teammates… we’re focused on evolution and unity.”

dumau — on mindset during the event: “When you get on the server, [stuff] starts going on in your mind, and then you fight against it with courage and faith.”
