Jocab Signs with Johnny Speeds — Swedish Team Completes Line-up

Swedish organisation Johnny Speeds has officially announced the addition of 20-year-old Swedish rifler Jacob "jocab" Nerheden, formerly of Young Ninjas (the academy squad of Ninjas in Pyjamas), strengthening the roster after a series of departures.

Transfer Details

  • The signing comes shortly after Johnny Speeds parted ways with coach André "BARBARR" Möller, benched player Leo "Svedjehed" Svedjehed, and trialist Liam "Licale" Leckremo.

  • Jocab leaves Young Ninjas after two years. During his stint there, he maintained a 1.08 rating across various competitions (CCT, United 21, RES, European Pro League).

  • His most recent LAN appearance came at Red Bull GIBAWAY JOURNEY 2025, where the Young Ninjas finished 17–20th; jocab ended that event with a 1.03 rating, including a 1.15 in a best-of-one loss against — ironically — his new team Johnny Speeds.

Why This Move Matters

For Johnny Speeds, adding jocab fills the final slot in their active five-man roster, potentially boosting the team’s firepower ahead of upcoming tournaments. According to official info, after the roster change their active lineup now consists of William “draken” Sundin, Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson, Anton “Sapec” Palmgren, Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso — and now jocab.

As for jocab, the move represents a step up: from academy-level competition to a full-time spot in a recognized Swedish organisation. Given his solid performance metrics at Young Ninjas, this could be a good chance for him to shine at higher-tier events.

What’s Next — Competitions Ahead

Johnny Speeds are scheduled to participate in several major upcoming events:

  • European Pro League Series 3 (playoffs)

  • Nodwin Clutch Series 3

  • CCT Season 3 Europe Series 12

The addition of jocab could influence their performance in these tournaments — and fans will likely watch closely to see if the new roster chemistry pays off.
