jL Confirms He Has Offers to Return to CS2 — But No “Perfect” Team Yet
Former NAVI star Justinas “jL” Lekavičius has confirmed that he is considering a return to professional Counter-Strike 2, revealing that he already has multiple offers on the table. However, the Lithuanian rifler stressed that none of them fully meet his expectations yet.
jL shared the update during a recent Twitch stream, where he spoke openly about his future, motivation, and the conditions under which he would come back to tier-one competition.
jL: “CS Is My Main Priority Right Now”
According to jL, competitive CS2 has once again become his primary focus:
“Counter-Strike is my main priority right now. Content creation and everything else can wait.”
Despite interest from teams, jL emphasized that he is not willing to rush his decision:
“There are offers. Some of them are partly interesting, partly not. But there hasn’t been an option that I feel 100% comfortable with.”
The player made it clear that if he returns, it will be only at full capacity:
“If I come back, it will be only to give my maximum.”
Why jL Is Still Inactive
jL was moved to NAVI’s inactive roster in July 2025. At the time, the organization stated that the decision was connected to the player’s personal well-being.
Later, jL himself explained that he was no longer enjoying the game and felt mentally exhausted by the demands of tier-one Counter-Strike. In previous interviews, he highlighted how the highest level of competition often requires 10–12 hours per day of intense practice and preparation.
He also mentioned wanting to dedicate more time to his personal life, including his family, which played a major role in his decision to step back temporarily.
Who Replaced jL in NAVI
Following jL’s move to inactivity, NAVI promoted Drin “makazze” Shaqiri from NAVI Junior to the main roster.
Head coach Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy later commented on the roster changes, underlining that the decision was not about blaming individual players:
“Even if we remove someone, it doesn’t mean that this player is bad. Everyone has ups and downs.”
As of now, jL remains officially inactive, while NAVI continues its rebuild with makazze.
Having Offers Doesn’t Mean an Immediate Return
Situations like jL’s are not uncommon in CS2. Former NAVI player Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy previously explained that players can receive interest from teams, but deals often fall through due to buyouts, role conflicts, or long-term plans.
This context helps explain why jL can confirm interest from teams while still remaining without a finalized option.
How Important Is This Update?
Rating: 8/10 — significant, but not a roster move yet
This is the strongest signal so far that jL is open to returning to professional CS2, but only under the right conditions. His stance suggests that fans should expect patience rather than a rushed comeback.
