Jame leads PARIVISION past arT-less Legacy for 94-point VRS boost at EPL S24

PARIVISION recovered from a heavy opening-map defeat to beat Legacy 2-1 in the first Swiss round of ESL Pro League Season 24 on October 3. The victory marked a successful start for their rebuilt lineup with HObbit back alongside Jame, FL1T, xiELO and zweih.
The result carried significance beyond Pro League. PARIVISION earned 94 Valve Regional Standings points by defeating Legacy, identified as the No. 2 team in the ranking at the time. With the PGL Major Singapore invitation deadline approaching, that was a substantial boost to their qualification prospects. Legacy competed without captain arT, who was sidelined by meningitis, with bobz stepping into the lineup.
| Map | Pick | Legacy | PARIVISION |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dust2 | PARIVISION | 13 | 5 |
| Inferno | Legacy | 2 | 13 |
| Ancient | Decider | 12 | 16 |
Both teams lost their own picks before PARIVISION settled the series in overtime. Neither side had played an earlier match at this edition of Pro League: this was their tournament opener, so the performances established their initial event form rather than continuing an existing EPL trend.
latto dismantles PARIVISION’s Dust2 pick
Legacy’s stand-in situation did not prevent a convincing start. They led Dust2 7-5 at halftime, then won all six rounds after the switch to close out PARIVISION’s pick 13-5.
latto supplied the decisive individual advantage. He finished with 21 kills against 10 deaths, 113.7 ADR and a 2.11 Rating 3.0. His opening-duel record was even more revealing: seven first kills without an opening death. That gave Legacy repeated numerical advantages while denying PARIVISION an equivalent opportunity to punish his aggression.
The contribution extended beyond one exceptional player. n1ssim added 15 kills and a 1.27 rating, giving Legacy a second productive rifler behind latto’s dominant performance.
For PARIVISION, the problem was particularly clear after halftime: they failed to win a single round. Their chosen map produced neither the expected advantage nor a competitive finish, leaving them needing an immediate response on Legacy’s selection.

HObbit and Jame turn Inferno into a one-sided response
PARIVISION answered with an even heavier victory. They built a 10-2 halftime lead on Inferno and completed the map with three consecutive rounds after the switch, winning 13-2.
Jame’s efficiency anchored the recovery. He recorded 16 kills and just three deaths for a 1.83 rating, including nine AWP kills and four opening kills. Legacy struggled to remove him from rounds, and his survival helped sustain PARIVISION’s control.
HObbit provided the highest damage output on the server: 128.0 ADR, 17 kills and a 1.59 rating. That made his return immediately relevant to the result. PARIVISION had another major contributor capable of overwhelming Legacy rather than depending entirely on their captain.
The change in latto’s output illustrated how sharply the balance shifted. After dominating Dust2, he managed five kills against 14 deaths and a 0.54 rating on Inferno. dumau was Legacy’s only player above a 1.00 rating, leaving too little support to make their own pick competitive.
Legacy reach match point, but Ancient belongs to PARIVISION
Ancient finally produced a sustained contest. PARIVISION led 7-5 at halftime and extended their advantage to 10-7, but Legacy won five consecutive rounds to reach 12-10.
That sequence put the Brazilians one round from the series. Instead, PARIVISION recovered both remaining regulation rounds and swept overtime 4-0. Six consecutive rounds transformed a near defeat into a 16-12 victory.
Jame again led the deciding map, finishing with 25 kills, 16 AWP kills and a 1.49 rating. His impact offered a consistent foundation while the score swung around him.
Legacy nevertheless generated opportunities. They won the opening-kill count 15-13 and took three clutches to PARIVISION’s one. Those advantages explain how they reached match point, but they were insufficient to finish the series. PARIVISION’s stronger closing sequence ultimately outweighed Legacy’s edge in those individual round metrics.

Jame’s supporting cast separates the teams
| Player | Team | K-D | ADR | KAST | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jame | PARIVISION | 52-27 | 77.9 | 78.7% | 1.37 |
| FL1T | PARIVISION | 50-40 | 89.6 | 80.3% | 1.27 |
| HObbit | PARIVISION | 43-34 | 85.5 | 80.3% | 1.17 |
| xiELO | PARIVISION | 41-41 | 78.1 | 77.0% | 1.16 |
| zweih | PARIVISION | 34-36 | 55.7 | 72.1% | 0.78 |
| latto | Legacy | 49-41 | 79.9 | 70.5% | 1.25 |
| dumau | Legacy | 37-49 | 81.8 | 68.9% | 0.96 |
| try | Legacy | 31-37 | 58.6 | 67.2% | 0.88 |
| n1ssim | Legacy | 33-46 | 60.4 | 57.4% | 0.80 |
| bobz | Legacy | 25-47 | 45.9 | 63.9% | 0.61 |
Jame combined the highest rating with a +25 kill differential and an 8-2 opening-duel record. Crucially, PARIVISION had four players above a 1.15 rating. FL1T supplied their highest series ADR, while HObbit matched his 80.3% KAST.
Legacy had only latto above 1.00. bobz’s 25-47 scoreline was a substantial deficit, but the shortage of production extended beyond the substitute: try and n1ssim also finished below 0.90. The result reflects a broader difference in contributions across the lineups.
A recent champion loses ground, while PARIVISION strengthen their Major position
Legacy entered Pro League after sweeping G2 3-0 in the FISSURE Playground 3 final. latto earned that tournament’s MVP award after posting a 1.67 rating in the championship match. His explosive Dust2 performance showed that individual threat remained, although it did not carry consistently through this series.
The result also reversed their June meeting at the IEM Cologne Major 2026, where Legacy won 2-0 and eliminated PARIVISION. The changed lineups make that historical comparison less predictive, but this time PARIVISION survived the decisive pressure rather than exiting under it.
The victory moved PARIVISION into the 1-0 bracket and a second-round meeting with Spirit. Legacy dropped into the 0-1 pool against ShindeN; by October 4, they had already recovered with a 2-0 win to level their record at 1-1. For PARIVISION, the immediate reward was both a winning EPL start and a materially stronger position in the race to Singapore.
