Dastan on PARIVISION’s Win Over GamerLegion at the Budapest Major: “We Make Too Many Mistakes”
PARIVISION survived another elimination match at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, defeating GamerLegion 2–0 (16–14 Overpass, 16–12 Ancient) to stay in contention for a Stage 2 spot. Despite the victory, head coach Dastan Akbayev admitted the team is still far from its best.
Dastan: “We give away unnecessary rounds”
Speaking after the match, Dastan said the roster is “making a lot of mistakes” and often lets opponents back into tight games. He praised GamerLegion’s preparation but stressed PARIVISION must clean up its micro-moments if it wants to advance deeper into the Major.
Jame: “A crazy guy with four young players”
In-game leader Jame also commented on the tense series, noting the team had played seven maps the previous day and was fighting exhaustion. He described PARIVISION’s survival mentality simply:
“It’s just me — a crazy guy with four young players from the premium league.”
Jame said he tries to keep the team composed in stressful moments, but acknowledged that pressure remains high in elimination scenarios.
What the win means
The result sends PARIVISION to the 2–2 decider match of Stage 1, where they will face Legacy for a final qualification slot. The loser is eliminated; the winner moves into Stage 2.
GamerLegion, meanwhile, exit the Budapest Major after a disappointing run.
