Inner Circle bench and transfer-list Flierax

Inner Circle have announced a roster change in their Counter-Strike 2 lineup, benching and placing Artem “Flierax” Khioara on the transfer list after a difficult start to the 2026 season. The move brings an end to the 20-year-old Ukrainian player’s five-month tenure in the organization’s starting roster.

Flierax joined the team in late 2025 as part of the lineup that transitioned from the former Team Next Level core, which had been acquired by Inner Circle as the organization sought to build a competitive roster capable of breaking into the higher tiers of the European CS2 scene.

Despite promising moments, the team struggled to produce consistent results during the early months of 2026. A series of mixed performances in online tournaments and qualifiers prompted the organization to reconsider its lineup direction and ultimately led to the decision to remove Flierax from the active roster.

Short tenure with the lineup

Flierax’s time on the main roster lasted roughly five months. During that period, he participated in more than one hundred maps for the team and posted an overall rating slightly above the 1.00 mark while helping Inner Circle compete in several European competitions and qualifiers.

However, the team’s overall results remained inconsistent. Inner Circle failed to build momentum across multiple tournaments, including recent qualifiers and online events where they fell short of deeper runs. Those struggles ultimately forced the organization to make adjustments as it attempts to stabilize its lineup and improve performance.

Inner Circle’s ongoing roster evolution

The benching of Flierax is the latest step in a series of roster moves involving the organization over the past year. In September 2025, Inner Circle had already taken drastic measures by benching and transfer-listing its entire roster after the lineup failed to meet internal expectations shortly after being assembled.

Since then, the team has continued to reshape its lineup with new additions and role changes in an effort to establish a stable core capable of competing in the crowded European tier-two scene. The current active roster features players such as Dawy, onic, zeRRoFIX, and cptkurtka023, while Flierax now joins the bench alongside nifee.

What’s next for Flierax

With the transfer listing now official, Flierax is free to explore opportunities with other organizations. The 20-year-old Ukrainian rifler remains a young prospect with professional experience and will likely look to continue his career elsewhere in the competitive CS2 ecosystem.

Inner Circle, meanwhile, are expected to evaluate potential replacements as they aim to recover from their slow start to the year and return to contention in upcoming European tournaments.
