IEM Atlanta 2026 Reveals Broadcast Talent Lineup Featuring SPUNJ, Machine, moses, and Freya
ESL has officially announced the full broadcast talent lineup for IEM Atlanta 2026, bringing together a mix of veteran Counter-Strike personalities, established casting duos, and rising broadcast names for the upcoming North American event.
The tournament, set to run from May 11-17 in Atlanta, will feature 16 teams competing for a $1 million prize pool and marks the beginning of the seventh season of the ESL Grand Slam circuit.
Among the headline names on the broadcast are the fan-favorite casting pair of Chad 'SPUNJ' Burchill and Alex 'Machine' Richardson, alongside the long-standing duo of Jason 'moses' O'Toole and Adam 'Dinko' Hawthorne. Both pairings have become staples of premier Counter-Strike broadcasts over recent years and are expected to handle many of the tournament’s marquee matches.
The event will also continue ESL’s recent trend of blending experienced broadcast veterans with newer voices. Mike 'DarfMike' Winnick, who recently worked as a stage host during BLAST Rivals, will join forces with Cole 'xner' McHenry on commentary duties. Meanwhile, Neo 'Ne0kai' Caine and Harvey 'Skriv' Rodgers complete the casting lineup after also securing opportunities as remote commentators for PGL Astana 2026.
On the desk and stage-hosting side, ESL selected a trio consisting of Freya Spiers, Tres 'stunna' Saranthus, and Martin 'STYKO' Styk. Freya and stunna have become regular faces at top-tier Counter-Strike events, while STYKO continues expanding his media presence following his transition into more analytical and broadcast-oriented roles.
The analyst desk will feature Janko 'YNk' Paunović, Jacob 'Pimp' Winneche, and Michael 'YouM3' Cassidy. Pimp and YNk remain two of the most recognizable strategic analysts in the scene, while YouM3 continues receiving opportunities at major international events after gaining traction throughout the last competitive season.
The event itself will feature several elite teams, including Vitality, Natus Vincere, FaZe, and FUT.
ESL’s decision to host the tournament in Atlanta also represents a notable shift for North American Counter-Strike events. According to coverage surrounding the announcement, only one other major North American HLTV-ranked LAN event since the pandemic had taken place outside of Texas, giving Atlanta a chance to provide a fresh setting for international CS competition.
The tournament will use a double-elimination best-of-three group stage format, with playoff matches also played as best-of-threes before a best-of-five grand final.
Community discussion surrounding the talent reveal has already started across social platforms and forums, with many fans praising the return of established duos like SPUNJ and Machine while also welcoming more opportunities for emerging commentators such as DarfMike, xner, Ne0kai, and Skriv.
