OG Completes Roster Overhaul with FL4MUS

Timur "FL4MUS" Marev — a 21-year-old Russian rifler — has officially joined OG Esports on a long-term loan from Virtus.pro, with OG holding an option to buy out his contract.

This marks the conclusion of OG’s latest roster reshuffle: the organization benched Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard and Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi, while bringing back Casper "cadiaN" Møller from inactivity to assume the AWP-IGL role. FL4MUS is expected to fill the primary rifler/spacer role — a fresh opportunity after a season of limited playtime and more passive roles at Virtus.pro.

From Rumors to Reality: How the Move Unfolded

The transfer had been rumored earlier this month, with media outlets citing insiders (such as from Sheep Esports) that OG had reached loan-terms with Virtus.pro.

On November 25, it was reported that FL4MUS was expected to debut for OG at DreamHack Knockout Stockholm 2025 — a $10,000 open-LAN event this weekend. The official announcement arrived November 27, confirming the deal is finalized.

OG’s Immediate Plans and Long-Term Ambitions

With FL4MUS on board, OG’s lineup is locked and ready for action at DreamHack Stockholm Knockout.

According to OG CEO Xavier Oswald, the recruitment is a “major boost” to the organization’s ambitions: FL4MUS brings youth, fearlessness, and the potential to deliver “world-class performances.”

The organization’s broader goal is to climb the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) and secure invites to premier global tournaments — with the upcoming IEM Cologne Major 2026 flagged as their “main objective ahead.”

What This Means for FL4MUS and OG

  • For FL4MUS: This move represents a second chance — after months on the bench and sporadic stand-in appearances — to establish himself as a core rifler in a top-tier European lineup.

  • For OG: The addition of a young talent like FL4MUS, combined with cadiaN’s return as AWP-IGL, signals a renewed push for stability and competitiveness. If results follow, OG could be a dark horse on the path to the next Major.
