OG’s new roster is already delivering results, with bodyy highlighting cadiaN’s leadership impact after just one event together.

OG may have found early stability in Counter-Strike 2 after adding Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro, with the French rifler openly praising Casper “cadiaN” Møller’s leadership following their first tournament together.

bodyy: “cadiaN is a really good leader”

Speaking after OG’s run at HyperX Roman Imperium Cup VI, bodyy shared his first impressions of the Danish in-game leader — and they were overwhelmingly positive.

According to bodyy, cadiaN brings strong structure and excels in mid-round situations, helping the team stay composed under pressure. He emphasized that cadiaN’s calling style stands out particularly on LAN, where decision-making and communication become critical.

bodyy also explained how responsibilities are shared within the team. While cadiaN focuses on leading and macro decisions, the French veteran supports with experience and additional input during rounds, creating a balanced system.

cadiaN responds: “A pleasure to play with bodyy”

The praise goes both ways. In a separate interview, cadiaN highlighted bodyy’s communication and calm presence, noting that the French player fits naturally into OG’s system.

He described bodyy as someone who brings clarity to team comms and helps stabilize the roster — something OG has been searching for during its rebuild.

“It’s a pleasure to play with him,” cadiaN said, reinforcing the idea that the chemistry between the two veterans is already forming.

OG roster move explained: Why bodyy replaced FL4MUS

OG officially signed bodyy on loan from 3DMAX on March 7, replacing Timur “FL4MUS” Marev in the active lineup.

The move came at a critical time, with OG slipping in the Valve Regional Standings and needing immediate improvement to stay competitive in the CS2 Major race.

cadiaN later clarified that FL4MUS was not the sole issue within the team, stating that OG had broader structural problems. He described the Russian player as “one out of five” parts of the system and suggested he could succeed in a different environment.

Strong debut: OG reach grand final in first event with bodyy

Despite limited practice, OG made an immediate impact with their updated roster.

At Roman Imperium Cup VI, the team reached the grand final, securing wins over notable opponents like Liquid and BC.Game before ultimately falling 1-2 to Ninjas in Pyjamas.

The result marked a significant improvement and suggested that OG’s changes are already paying off — especially in LAN environments.

cadiaN on CS2 struggles and OG’s LAN potential

While results are improving, cadiaN admitted that adapting to CS2 has been challenging.

He said the transition has been “pretty tough” and emphasized that he is still working to regain top form. However, he pointed out that OG perform noticeably better on LAN than online, indicating that the team’s potential may be higher in stage environments.

This could be a key factor as OG aim to qualify for upcoming major events.

bodyy’s departure from 3DMAX: “The vision diverged”

Before joining OG, bodyy left 3DMAX due to differences in long-term direction.

He explained that the team’s vision no longer aligned “from every perspective,” leading to the split. Shortly after, 3DMAX signed Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier as his replacement.

The move to OG, however, was framed as a new challenge rather than a comfort pick, with bodyy focusing on adapting to an established system instead of rebuilding one.

OG’s rebuild around cadiaN

OG have been rebuilding their CS2 roster around cadiaN since his arrival in November 2025, when he took over both AWP and in-game leadership duties.

The organization is betting on his experience and leadership to return the team to top-tier contention — a strategy that now appears to be gaining traction.

What’s next for OG in CS2?

The early signs are promising:

Strong LAN performance

Positive player feedback

Improved team structure

However, consistency remains the key challenge.

If OG can maintain this trajectory, they could re-enter the conversation as a serious contender in the CS2 scene — especially with Major qualification on the line.
