For FaZe, the invitation arrives at an important moment in the team's ongoing transition period. The organization remains one of Counter-Strike's most recognizable names and continues to attract attention regardless of form. Over the past few years, FaZe established itself as one of the defining teams of the international era of Counter-Strike, collecting major trophies and building one of the game's most successful multinational rosters. The organization previously captured titles such as ESL Pro League and IEM events while also completing an Intel Grand Slam campaign during an earlier roster cycle. 

However, the current version of FaZe is operating in a different environment.
