ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2 Fantasy Goes Live With 13 Teams Available

ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2 Fantasy Goes Live With 13 Teams Available
The ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2 Fantasy game is now live on HLTV, allowing Counter-Strike fans to assemble their lineups ahead of the next phase of the tournament. However, the current player pool is still incomplete, as only 13 teams are currently available, with three additional teams to be added after the Stage 1 decider matches conclude.
The fantasy game covers the Stage 2 Swiss group stage, where all matches are played in a best-of-three format.
Players can already submit their lineups, but the final team list will only be finalized once the last Stage 1 qualifiers are determined.
Teams Currently Available in EPL Stage 2 Fantasy
At launch, the fantasy pool includes players from the following 13 confirmed teams:
FURIA
MOUZ
Team Spirit
The MongolZ
Natus Vincere
Aurora
FaZe
Astralis
FUT
paiN
B8
Monte
Legacy
Three more teams will join the pool once they successfully qualify through the Stage 1 decider matches.
Most Popular Player Picks So Far
Early selection trends show several players dominating fantasy lineups.
magixx leads early pick rate
Boris “magixx” Vorobiev from Team Spirit has emerged as the most selected player, appearing in roughly half of all fantasy teams. His relatively low price tag in the game has made him one of the most attractive value picks.
donk remains a premium star option
Another highly popular choice is Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, who appears in nearly 40% of submitted rosters despite being priced among the most expensive players in the game.
The Spirit star has established himself as one of Counter-Strike’s most explosive riflers in recent years, previously delivering dominant performances and MVP-level ratings at top events.
Because of his high fragging output and aggressive playstyle, he is widely viewed as a high-ceiling fantasy option for Stage 2.
ESL Pro League Season 23 Format and Schedule
The ESL Pro League Season 23 tournament is structured across multiple stages:
Stage 1: March 1–5
Stage 2: March 6–10 (online Swiss group stage)
LAN Finals: March 13–15 in Stockholm, Sweden
A total of 16 teams compete in Stage 2, fighting for places in the LAN finals where the tournament champions will be crowned.
Fantasy Strategy: Why the Incomplete Team Pool Matters
Because three Stage 2 teams are still unknown, fantasy managers face an early strategic decision:
Submit a lineup now to secure participation before the deadline.
Wait for the decider results to potentially select players from the final qualifying teams.
Historically, late additions from Stage 1 can create strong value picks, since many players finalize their lineups before the complete pool becomes available.
What’s Next in EPL S23
Once Stage 1 concludes and the final teams are determined, HLTV will update the fantasy pool to include the remaining squads. This will give fantasy players the opportunity to adjust their lineups before the Stage 2 matches begin.
With powerhouse teams like FaZe, NAVI, MOUZ, and Team Spirit already confirmed in the stage, the next phase of ESL Pro League Season 23 promises intense competition and high-impact fantasy scoring opportunities.
