Following Astralis’ loss to MOUZ at BLAST Bounty Season 2, Nicolai “device” Reedtz shared his thoughts in a post-match interview with Mike “DarfMike” Winnick on the broadcast.

On Why Astralis Fell Short

“We didn’t handle our mid-rounds well on CT Nuke,” device admitted. “We had plenty of opening kills and many favourable situations, but we misplayed a lot of them. We knew Nuke was the map we needed to take, since Mirage is tougher for us, so it’s a bit frustrating.”

On Competing with Elite Teams

When asked what Astralis needs to overcome top-tier opponents, device pointed to differences in preparation and cohesion.
“I think those teams have more structure and are better put together overall. They’ve clearly discussed their reactions and approach in depth,” he explained. “A big part of Astralis’ struggles has been constant roster changes and roles that haven’t meshed well.”

Looking Ahead

Despite the setbacks, device remains optimistic.
“We’re giving it our all right now—we even made some role changes during the break. Hopefully, we can find more stability. I believe time and consistency are key for development; you can see that with teams like The MongolZ and Aurora.”
