In 2025, the Esports World Cup awarded a record-breaking USD 71.5 million across all tournaments — the largest combined payout in esports history.
Of that, USD 27 million was allocated to the Club Championship, which rewarded the top 24 organizations based on their results across multiple titles.
The winning team received USD 7 million for topping the standings.
Team Falcons emerged as the 2025 Club Champion with 4,900 points across 21 disciplines, outperforming Team Liquid and Team Vitality.
In a post-event statement, Falcons’ CEO Mossad “Msdossary” Al-Dossary said:
“We promised ourselves that we wanted this trophy to stay at home. Now, finally, we can say it’s home … This is for all the Saudi people. It remains in Saudi.”

In Counter-Strike 2, The MongolZ took first place, followed by Aurora and Team Falcons.
The Chess competition debuted in 2025, where Magnus Carlsen won the first-ever EWC chess title after defeating Alireza Firouzja in the final.
