controlez joins The Huns – roster finalized after The MongolZ stand-in stint

Unudelger “controlez” Baasanjargal has officially joined The Huns, completing the team’s lineup for the upcoming CS2 season. The move follows his recent stand-in period with The MongolZ and comes after Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar’s transfer in the opposite direction.

controlez signs with The Huns

The 28-year-old Mongolian veteran becomes a permanent member of The Huns after three stand-in appearances for The MongolZ, where he posted a 1.05 rating and helped the team reach playoffs at multiple international events.

The signing closes the vacancy left when cobrazera departed The Huns to complete The MongolZ’s roster following the benching of Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold.

From stand-in to full-time contract

controlez was initially brought into The MongolZ as an emergency solution after Senzu was moved to the bench. Due to limited preparation time and roster constraints, the organization opted for experience, turning to controlez for events such as IEM Chengdu and the StarLadder Budapest Major.

Despite his temporary status, the experienced rifler delivered solid individual numbers and stability during a turbulent period for the team, making him one of the most talked-about free agents in the Mongolian CS2 scene once his stand-in contract expired.

The domino effect in Mongolian CS2

This move is the final piece in a chain of roster changes:

Senzu was benched by The MongolZ

controlez joined The MongolZ as a stand-in for three events

cobrazera transferred from The Huns to The MongolZ

The Huns signed controlez to complete their lineup

The result is two stabilized rosters heading into the new competitive cycle.

The Huns CS2 roster

The Huns now field the following lineup:

Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga

Tengis “sk0R” Batjargal

Baatarkhuu “Bart4k” Batbold

Munkhtogtokh “xerolte” Enkhbat

Unudelger “controlez” Baasanjargal

Coach: Badral “Carnage” Purevkhuu

With this roster locked in, The Huns aim to build consistency on the regional level and push deeper runs in international qualifiers.

What this means going forward

For The Huns, controlez brings experience, flexibility, and recent tier-one exposure. For controlez, the move offers long-term stability after a high-visibility stand-in role. As Mongolian Counter-Strike continues to gain international attention, this signing reinforces The Huns’ ambitions to remain competitive both locally and abroad.
