MOUZ captain Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin has shared his excitement after his team secured a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 23 playoffs, which will take place in front of a live audience in Stockholm, Sweden. The Swedish in-game leader said he hopes to recreate the atmosphere and success he once experienced competing on home soil.

MOUZ Qualify for ESL Pro League Season 23 Playoffs

MOUZ became the first team to qualify for the ESL Pro League Season 23 arena playoffs after finishing Stage 2 with a perfect 3-0 record. The team defeated HEROIC, Astralis, and The MongolZ to secure their place in the final stage of the tournament.

The decisive victory against The MongolZ not only locked MOUZ into the playoffs but also extended the team’s winning streak against the Mongolian roster to five consecutive series, highlighting the squad’s strong form heading into the decisive stage of the event.

The playoffs will be played March 13–15 at Annexet in Stockholm, where eight teams will compete for the ESL Pro League Season 23 title and a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

Brollan Looks Forward to Playing in Sweden Again

Following the qualification, Brollan posted on social media that the team is proud to have reached the playoffs and said it has been a long time since he last competed in front of a Swedish crowd.

The 22-year-old player also expressed hope that he can repeat the success he experienced in Malmö, referencing one of the most memorable victories of his career.

Remembering DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019

Brollan previously won DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019 with fnatic, defeating Team Vitality in the grand final. That tournament remains one of the most notable Swedish arena victories in his career and cemented his reputation as one of the country’s top Counter-Strike talents.

With the ESL Pro League playoffs returning to Sweden, Brollan now has another opportunity to compete for a major international trophy in front of his home crowd.

MOUZ Enter Playoffs in Strong Form

MOUZ’s dominant run through the second stage suggests the team could be a serious contender for the title. During the Swiss stage, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi delivered standout performances and finished the stage with one of the highest player ratings of the competition.

The team’s current lineup has shown consistent form throughout the tournament, making them one of the most dangerous teams heading into the arena stage.
