Alliance Win Tipsport Conquest of Prague 2026 After Revenge Victory Over EYEBALLERS

Alliance claimed the Tipsport Conquest of Prague 2026 title after defeating fellow Swedish side EYEBALLERS 2-1 in a dramatic grand final rematch, completing a revenge run in one of the tournament’s most intense series.

The Swedish derby became the headline match of the event after EYEBALLERS had previously sent Alliance to the lower bracket with a convincing 2-0 victory in the upper-bracket final. However, Alliance responded under pressure and returned to the grand final ready for redemption.

Alliance defeat EYEBALLERS in Swedish derby rematch

The best-of-three grand final featured three tightly contested maps: Inferno, Overpass, and Ancient. Alliance secured the opening map after an exhausting overtime battle on Inferno, winning 22-20 in one of the longest maps of the tournament. 

EYEBALLERS immediately bounced back on Overpass. Powered by strong performances from Sebastian “dex” Samuelsson and Max “maxster” Jansson, EYEBALLERS dominated the map 13-5 to force a decider. 

The championship ultimately came down to Ancient, where Alliance delivered a composed CT-side performance to close the map 13-9 and secure the trophy in Prague.

MaiL09 shines as Alliance secure Prague trophy

One of the biggest talking points of the final was the performance of Liam “MaiL09” Tügel. The 16-year-old talent stepped up on the deciding map with a 1.65 rating, helping Alliance close out the series under pressure. 

Meanwhile, veteran rifler Sean “eraa” Knutsson led Alliance statistically across the grand final with:

Despite finishing runner-up, EYEBALLERS star maxster ended the tournament as the highest-rated player overall with a 1.37 event rating across eight maps. 

Alliance complete lower-bracket comeback

Alliance’s title run became even more impressive considering the team had already lost to EYEBALLERS earlier in the playoffs. In the upper-bracket final, EYEBALLERS won:

Nuke — 13-8

Dust2 — 13-5

That victory initially appeared to establish EYEBALLERS as favorites for the championship, but Alliance adapted in the rematch with a different veto strategy and stronger CT-side execution.

After lifting the trophy, Alliance celebrated the victory on social media with the message:

“WE’VE CONQUERED PRAGUE!”

The organization also described the championship as a successful revenge match after the earlier upper-bracket defeat.
