Biography

Ivan “zweih” Gogin (born September 19, 2007, Russia) is a professional Counter‑Strike 2 player and one of the most promising young riflers in the competitive scene. Currently representing Team Spirit, zweih has quickly risen from obscurity in the CIS regional circuit to playing on some of the biggest international stages, earning recognition for his composure, sharp mechanics, and consistent impact despite his young age.

Zweih’s competitive journey began in late 2023 when he joined VaselineWorms, competing in online qualifiers and ESEA Advanced tournaments. His early performances caught attention within the CIS scene, leading to a move to Nemiga Gaming in June 2024. At Nemiga, he gained valuable experience and began refining his rifling skills against stronger opposition, steadily improving his performance metrics and positioning himself as one of the most exciting young players to watch.

His breakout moment came at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, where he made his Major debut and impressed both fans and analysts with a series of high‑impact performances. Despite the team’s early exit, zweih posted standout ratings—averaging above 1.20 in key matches—and displayed remarkable composure for a 17‑year‑old competing at his first top‑tier event. These performances sparked immediate interest from elite organizations, marking him as one of the brightest up‑and‑coming talents in CS2.

On July 7, 2025, Team Spirit announced the signing of zweih as a core rifler, replacing long‑time player magixx. This move placed him alongside some of the CIS region’s biggest stars, including donk and sh1ro, giving him the platform to compete consistently at premier events. In his first months with Spirit, zweih delivered solid contributions at tournaments like IEM Cologne 2025, helping the team secure deep playoff runs and earning praise for his versatility as both a supportive and aggressive rifler.

Zweih is widely regarded as a highly disciplined and mechanically gifted player. His style blends calculated aggression with smart positioning, allowing him to excel in opening duels and mid‑round situations. Despite his limited time at the top level, his recent performances — with an HLTV rating consistently above 1.20 — highlight his potential to become one of the leading riflers in the game.
