İsmailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş (born August 7, 1995, in Turkey) is a professional Counter-Strike 2 rifler currently competing for Eternal Fire. Regarded as one of the most mechanically gifted players in the history of Turkish Counter-Strike, XANTARES is famous for his lightning-fast aim, explosive entry fragging, and the creation of the legendary “XANTARES peek” — a rapid, pre-aimed peek technique that became iconic in the global CS community.
XANTARES began his professional career in the early 2010s, quickly dominating the Turkish scene before gaining international recognition with Space Soldiers in 2016. As the star rifler and main firepower of the team, he led Space Soldiers to numerous regional titles, deep runs at international tournaments, and qualification for the ELEAGUE Boston Major 2018. His raw mechanical skill, especially in rifle duels, made him one of the most feared opponents in Tier-1 CS:GO.
In December 2018, XANTARES joined the German powerhouse BIG, marking his first full-time stint in a top-tier European roster. During his time with BIG, he helped the team achieve significant successes, including winning cs_summit 6 Europe, DreamHack Open Summer 2020, and DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 Europe. He was instrumental in BIG’s rise to the world’s number one spot in the HLTV rankings in mid-2020, consistently delivering high frag counts and impactful performances.
In August 2021, XANTARES returned to the Turkish scene to co-found Eternal Fire alongside MAJ3R and other notable players. Serving as the team’s star rifler, he continued to post elite-level statistics while also taking on leadership responsibilities in certain situations. With Eternal Fire, he has claimed regional championships, qualified for Majors, and reached playoff stages in international events.
Known for his aggressive style, impeccable spray control, and confident dueling, XANTARES remains one of the most entertaining players to watch. His consistency in fragging, combined with his experience in international competition, makes him the backbone of Eternal Fire’s firepower.
By 2025, XANTARES had played in hundreds of professional matches, competed in over a dozen Major events, and amassed hundreds of thousands of dollars in prize money. His influence extends beyond the server, inspiring a generation of Turkish Counter-Strike players to pursue international success.
