Biography

Keith “NAF” Markovic (born November 24, 1997, Canada) is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player who competes for Team Liquid. Widely regarded as one of the most versatile riflers in Counter-Strike history, NAF has built a reputation on his consistency, adaptability, and ability to excel in nearly every role—making him a cornerstone of the North American scene for more than a decade.

NAF began his professional career in 2012, emerging as a promising young player in the early CS:GO era. He first rose to prominence with Luminosity Gaming and Conquest, before earning international recognition during his time with OpTic Gaming. With OpTic, NAF helped the team capture the ELEAGUE Season 2 title in 2016, proving his ability to perform on the biggest stages.

In February 2018, NAF joined Team Liquid, where he became one of the defining figures of the organization’s most successful era. Known for his calm, calculated playstyle and versatility across rifles, SMGs, and utility-heavy roles, NAF was a key part of Liquid’s dominant 2019 season. That year, Liquid captured the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 in a record 63 days, alongside trophies at IEM Sydney 2019, DreamHack Masters Dallas 2019, ESL Pro League Season 9, and ESL One Cologne 2019, among others.

Throughout his career, NAF has consistently maintained strong individual statistics, often boasting ratings above 1.10 across hundreds of maps. His adaptability allows him to anchor sites, play supportive roles, or step up as a secondary star, depending on his team’s needs. He is often praised for his game sense, clutch ability, and longevity, remaining one of the most stable performers in North America even into the CS2 era.

With more than US$1.1 million in career prize earnings, NAF is recognized as one of Canada’s most successful Counter-Strike professionals. His quiet but impactful presence has made him a fan favorite and a reliable figure in Team Liquid’s campaigns at the highest level.
