Emil “Magisk” Reif (born March 5, 1998, Denmark) is a professional Counter-Strike 2 rifler currently playing for Team Falcons. Renowned for his consistency, clutch ability, and experience at the highest level, Magisk is one of the most decorated Danish players in Counter-Strike history, with multiple Major titles and years of competing at the very top of the scene.
Magisk began his professional career in 2015, playing for Danish lineups such as SK Gaming, Team Dignitas, and Team North. His early reputation was built on his ability to perform under pressure and deliver crucial frags against elite opponents. In 2017, he joined OpTic Gaming, where he further showcased his rifling skill before making the defining move of his career in 2018: joining Astralis.
At Astralis, Magisk became part of one of the most dominant rosters in Counter-Strike history. Alongside dev1ce, gla1ve, dupreeh, and Xyp9x, he won three consecutive CS:GO Majors — FACEIT Major: London 2018, IEM Katowice Major 2019, and StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. He also lifted multiple elite trophies, including ESL Pro League, IEM Katowice, and BLAST Pro Series events. Magisk was consistently praised for his stability as both a rifler and secondary leader, seamlessly filling gaps within Astralis’ tactical system.
In 2021, Magisk moved to Team Vitality, joining forces with apEX, ZywOo, and dupreeh. With Vitality, he remained a central figure, helping the team secure high finishes at international events and continue competing at the top tier. His next chapter began in 2024, when he signed with Team Falcons, a Saudi-backed project bringing together some of the most accomplished players in the world. With Falcons, Magisk continues to compete against the best, bringing his wealth of experience and winning pedigree to a new era of Counter-Strike.
Across his career, Magisk has played over 1,300 professional maps and earned more than $1.6 million in prize money, underscoring his longevity and success at the elite level.
