Biography
Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson (born April 25, 1994, Sweden) is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player currently representing Fnatic. Widely regarded as one of the most consistent and intelligent riflers in Counter-Strike history, KRIMZ is a veteran of the game whose career has spanned over a decade at the highest level of international competition.
KRIMZ began his professional journey in Counter-Strike 1.6, but he rose to prominence with the transition to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the early 2010s. After short stints with teams such as LGB eSports and Team PlayArt, he joined Fnatic in 2014, marking the start of one of the most dominant eras in CS:GO history. Alongside legendary teammates Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer, Jesper “JW” Wecksell, and Robin “flusha” Rönnquist, KRIMZ became a cornerstone of Fnatic’s success during their peak years.
Known for his calm demeanor, impeccable positioning, and exceptional clutch ability, KRIMZ played a vital role in Fnatic’s back-to-back Major victories — ESL One Katowice 2015 and ESL One Cologne 2015. His ability to hold bombsites alone and deliver under pressure earned him the reputation of being one of the best anchor players in the world. His synergy with olofmeister, in particular, became one of the most iconic duos in Counter-Strike history.
Following Fnatic’s golden era, KRIMZ remained the backbone of the roster through multiple lineup changes and competitive eras. His consistency, experience, and adaptability allowed him to stay relevant as the competitive landscape evolved. Even as younger talent entered the scene, KRIMZ continued to produce world-class performances, often serving as a mentor figure while still maintaining elite individual statistics.
Across his illustrious career, KRIMZ has played over 1,600 professional maps and maintains a career Rating 2.0 around 1.10, reflecting his enduring performance at the top level. His composure, discipline, and versatility have made him one of the most respected figures in the Counter-Strike community.
