Biography
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski (born July 16, 1997, United States) is a professional Counter-Strike 2 rifler for FaZe Clan and one of North America’s most decorated players. Celebrated for pristine mechanics, laser-sharp spray control, and exceptional longevity at the top level, EliGE has defined multiple eras of Counter-Strike—from his Team Liquid prime to his present chapter with FaZe—while consistently ranking among the world’s elite.
EliGE’s esports path began in StarCraft II before he fully committed to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the early 2010s. Rapid improvement and mature fundamentals earned him a call-up to Team Liquid in March 2015, launching an eight-year run that would shape North American Counter-Strike. The first watershed moment arrived in 2016, when Liquid reached the ESL One Cologne Major grand final—the first Major final for a North American team—establishing EliGE as a big-stage performer with the poise to close pressure rounds against the best in the world.
Liquid’s golden year came in 2019. Across an astonishing 63-day blitz, the roster completed the Intel Grand Slam Season 2, winning IEM Sydney, DreamHack Masters Dallas, ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals, and ESL One Cologne. Through that run EliGE was the engine: opening space on T-sides, converting high-difficulty trades, and anchoring CT halves with clinical, low-error dueling. He closed the season #4 on HLTV’s Top 20 and cemented his reputation as one of the most feared riflers in the game. Further S-tier trophies and repeated Major playoff appearances followed, with EliGE’s trademark profile—immaculate crosshair placement, fast target switching, and disciplined pathing—becoming a model for aspiring riflers.
After more than eight years in Liquid blue, June 2023 marked a new chapter as EliGE transferred to Complexity Gaming. His arrival catalyzed a rapid rise in form and ranking, highlighted by a runner-up finish at IEM Sydney 2023 and a climb into the world’s top five within months. Throughout 2024, he remained Complexity’s win condition in big series, adapting seamlessly as CS2 replaced CS:GO while maintaining elite duel conversion and late-round composure.
In January 2025, EliGE moved to FaZe Clan to fill a star rifler role on one of the most storied international lineups. The switch reunited him with perennial title expectations and thrust him back into consistent arena contention. On FaZe, his impact is felt in the margins that decide championships: percentage-fight openings on offense, airtight anchor play on defense, and the calm, protocol-driven decisions that stabilize economy-swing rounds. Individually, he remains a fixture of elite conversation—his HLTV résumé spans Top-20 finishes in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2024, reflecting a rare blend of peak and longevity.
Now well into the CS2 era with FaZe Clan, Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski stands as a defining figure of North American Counter-Strike and a standard-bearer for professional consistency. With over $1.1 million in prize earnings, a Grand Slam on his mantle, Major-final experience, and fresh ambitions in red and black, he continues to marry world-class mechanics with veteran discipline—proof that championship-level rifling endures across games, metas, and teams.
