Biography
Danil “donk” Kryshkovets (born January 25, 2007, in Tomsk, Russia) is a professional Counter‑Strike 2 player and one of the most electrifying young stars in the competitive scene. Playing as a rifler for Team Spirit, donk is widely regarded as one of the most mechanically gifted and aggressive players of his generation, earning multiple MVP awards and establishing himself as a future legend of the game.
Donk’s path to the top of Counter‑Strike began at an incredibly young age. He started playing Counter‑Strike at just four years old and transitioned to CS:GO competitively by the age of six. His raw talent quickly stood out in the FPL‑C (FACEIT Pro League Challenger) circuit, where he displayed exceptional aim and a natural instinct for the game. In 2021, at just 14 years old, he joined the Team Spirit Academy, a move that laid the foundation for his professional career. Over two years in the academy system, donk honed his skills and built a reputation as one of the brightest upcoming talents in CIS esports.
In July 2023, donk was promoted to Team Spirit’s main roster, instantly making his mark in international tournaments. He contributed to Spirit’s success at events like CCT North Europe Series #6 and Dunav Party 2023, showing a level of confidence and consistency rare for a player of his age. By the end of the year, donk had already earned his first HLTV MVP award at BetBoom Dacha 2023, where he finished with an impressive 1.31 rating, becoming the second‑youngest MVP in Counter‑Strike history.
The breakout year for donk came in 2024. He delivered a historic performance at IEM Katowice 2024, earning the MVP award and becoming the youngest player ever to receive MVP honors at a top‑tier tournament. Later that year, he added more MVP titles to his name at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, cementing his status as one of the most dominant players in CS2. His crowning achievement came at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, where he led Team Spirit to their first Major championship and was named Major MVP, making him the youngest Major MVP in Counter‑Strike history.
These extraordinary performances earned donk the title of HLTV Player of the Year 2024, along with accolades for Rookie of the Year, Entry‑fragger of the Year, and Highlight of the Year. His aggressive rifling style, lightning‑fast aim, and composure in clutch situations have made him a nightmare for opponents and a central figure in Spirit’s rise to the elite level of competitive Counter‑Strike.
By 2025, donk had already secured additional MVP awards at events such as BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals and PGL Astana 2025, continuing to dominate the CS2 landscape and pushing his career earnings beyond $700,000 USD. Despite his young age, he has already played on the biggest stages, won a Major, and achieved individual accolades that many veterans can only dream of.
