His esports journey began in Counter-Strike: Source, showing early promise that led to a swift entry into the top Danish CS:GO scene. In 2013, he debuted internationally with Copenhagen Wolves, before moving through rosters such as Team Dignitas and Team SoloMid (TSM). In early 2016, he co-founded Astralis, the player-owned team that would dominate CS:GO for years to come.

dev1ce was instrumental in Astralis winning four CS:GO Majors, becoming one of the few players—and the first organization—to capture three consecutive Major titles. His consistent dominance earned him two Major MVP awards, and he was consistently named among the Top 20 Players globally for seven straight years, including finishes at #3 in 2015, 2016, and 2019.

In April 2021 he transferred to Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP), before returning to Astralis in late 2022, renewing the organization's championship mindset into the CS2 era.

Over his career, dev1ce has earned nearly $2 million in prize money, maintained elite-tier statistics across LAN and online play, and delivered countless match-winning performances. His legacy is defined by unwavering consistency, elite AWPing, and leadership that helped define an era.
