Wildcard Confirm Signing of nEMANHA for CS2 Roster

North American esports organization Wildcard has officially confirmed the signing of Serbian in-game leader Nemanja “nEMANHA” Đukić, completing the latest phase of the team’s Counter-Strike 2 roster rebuild. The 28-year-old joins the squad after a productive period with the European mix illwill, where he served as captain and helped the team achieve several notable results in early 2026.

Wildcard’s decision to recruit nEMANHA comes shortly after the organization parted ways with Anthony “CLASIA” Kearney, creating an opening in the starting lineup. The Serbian player effectively fills that slot while also taking on leadership duties as the team’s primary in-game leader. The move is intended to bring structure and strategic direction to a roster that had lacked a dedicated IGL since veteran leader Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz was benched in late 2025.

Experienced leader arrives from illwill

Before joining Wildcard, nEMANHA spent several months with illwill, an international squad composed largely of free agents. Under his leadership the team enjoyed a strong run of form, climbing into the top 30 of the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) and delivering a number of impressive tournament performances. Among the most notable achievements were second-place finishes at Copenhagen Gaming Week 2026 and the Parken Challenger Championship Season 1, results that helped bring attention to the team and its captain.

During this stretch the Serbian IGL also delivered solid individual performances, recording a rating of 1.13 across more than 100 maps played with the lineup. These results highlighted his ability not only to lead but also to maintain competitive individual impact while directing the team in game.

Career path before the move

nEMANHA is a long-time competitor in the European tier-two Counter-Strike scene. Prior to his brief stint with illwill, he spent more than four years representing the Balkan organization Zero Tenacity, where he played from 2021 until the club disbanded its CS2 roster in December 2025. His earlier career also included multiple teams across the Balkan region, gradually establishing him as one of the most experienced in-game leaders in that circuit.

The move to Wildcard therefore represents a significant step in his career, marking a transition from regional European lineups to a North American organization competing internationally.

Wildcard’s rebuild continues

The signing is part of a broader restructuring effort within Wildcard’s Counter-Strike division. In recent months the team has made several roster adjustments, including benching Simon “sSen” Solnæs Iversen earlier in the year and promoting Jadan “HexT” Postma into the starting lineup. The organization has also been rebuilding its coaching and support structure around head coach James “JamezIRL” Macaulay.

With nEMANHA now taking over the leadership role, Wildcard’s active roster consists of Ethan “reck” Serrano, Miłosz “mhL” Knasiak, Jaxon “Peeping” Cornwell, Jadan “HexT” Postma, and Nemanja “nEMANHA” Đukić. The organization hopes the experienced Serbian caller can help guide the team through its rebuilding phase and improve results on the international stage.

Looking ahead

Wildcard recently fell short of qualifying for PGL Bucharest after losing the North American closed qualifier final, highlighting the challenges the roster has faced in recent months. The arrival of nEMANHA is expected to address some of those issues by adding a dedicated tactical leader and veteran presence.

The team is expected to begin practicing with the new lineup immediately as it prepares for several upcoming European LAN events scheduled in the coming months. These tournaments will serve as the first opportunity for the revamped roster to demonstrate progress and begin climbing the global rankings again.

With a rebuilt lineup and a new in-game leader at the helm, Wildcard enters the next phase of its CS2 project aiming to re-establish itself as a competitive force in the North American scene while seeking stronger results internationally.
