Vitality face NAVI at ESL Pro League Season 24: day-two schedule, results and player statistics

Vitality face NAVI at ESL Pro League Season 24: day-two schedule, results and player statistics

Vitality and Natus Vincere meet on October 4 in one of ESL Pro League Season 24’s most significant second-round matches. Both opened their campaigns with convincing 2–0 victories, but their encounter will offer a stronger measure of their level: Vitality overwhelmed 1win, while NAVI dismantled G2.

Elsewhere, Falcons face Aurora and FURIA take on MOUZ in the unbeaten pool. Spirit have already moved to 2–0 by defeating PARIVISION, while Legacy recovered from their opening loss with a sweep of ShindeN.

Tournament snapshot: October 4, following the completed Spirit–PARIVISION and Legacy–ShindeN matches.

Spirit reach 2–0 as Legacy recover

The opening round produced six straight-map victories and two three-map series. NAVI and PARIVISION were the only lower-seeded teams to win, leaving most of the leading contenders paired against each other in round two.

All map scores below are shown from the first-listed team’s perspective.

Date Match Result Maps Stage
October 3 Falcons vs TYLOO 2–0 Mirage 13–11, Anubis 13–7 Swiss round 1
October 3 Legacy vs PARIVISION 1–2 Dust2 13–5, Inferno 2–13, Ancient 12–16 Swiss round 1
October 3 Vitality vs 1win 2–0 Dust2 13–1, Cache 13–5 Swiss round 1
October 3 Spirit vs ShindeN 2–1 Dust2 11–13, Nuke 13–11, Mirage 13–4 Swiss round 1
October 3 Aurora vs 9z 2–0 Dust2 13–3, Mirage 13–11 Swiss round 1
October 3 MOUZ vs M80 2–0 Cache 13–9, Mirage 13–6 Swiss round 1
October 3 G2 vs NAVI 0–2 Cache 7–13, Inferno 4–13 Swiss round 1
October 3 FURIA vs BETBOOM 2–0 Mirage 13–5, Cache 16–14 Swiss round 1
October 4 Legacy vs ShindeN 2–0 Nuke 13–8, Mirage 13–11 Swiss round 2
October 4 Spirit vs PARIVISION 2–1 Ancient 11–13, Dust2 13–6, Anubis 13–5 Swiss round 2

Spirit’s second victory again required a comeback after losing the opening map. Against PARIVISION, however, their response was decisive: they conceded only 11 rounds across Dust2 and Anubis. Their 2–0 series record puts them one win from playoff qualification, although a 4–2 map record shows that neither opponent went down without resistance.

Legacy’s recovery leaves them at 1–1 with a 3–2 map record. ShindeN, meanwhile, drop to 0–2 and must win three consecutive series to advance.

Vitality–NAVI headlines the remaining October 4 schedule

Match times are listed in UTC. The schedule below contains matches that had not started at the tournament snapshot.

Date Time UTC Match Stage Format
October 4 12:30 Falcons vs Aurora Swiss round 2, 1–0 pool BO3
October 4 14:00 FURIA vs MOUZ Swiss round 2, 1–0 pool BO3
October 4 14:00 G2 vs 1win Swiss round 2, 0–1 pool BO3
October 4 16:30 Vitality vs NAVI Swiss round 2, 1–0 pool BO3
October 4 16:30 BETBOOM vs M80 Swiss round 2, 0–1 pool BO3

The other second-round match, 9z vs TYLOO, was already underway at the snapshot, having been scheduled for 11:30 UTC. Spirit–PARIVISION and Legacy–ShindeN are included in the completed-results table.

The 16-team Swiss stage sends eight teams into the playoffs. Three victories secure progression; three defeats end a team’s campaign. Consequently, the unbeaten-pool matches are opportunities to reach qualification territory, rather than direct playoff deciders. The 0–1 matches determine which teams recover to 1–1 and which enter elimination territory at 0–2.

Vitality’s dominant opener meets NAVI’s stronger opposition

Vitality won 26 of the 32 rounds played against 1win. Their 13–1 Dust2 victory was followed by a 13–5 win on their own Cache pick, giving them the largest opening-round margin.

NAVI conceded 11 rounds against G2, winning their Cache pick 13–7 before taking G2’s Inferno 13–4. Their margin was smaller, but the opposition provides a different context: beating G2 comfortably carries more weight than the score alone suggests.

Metric Vitality NAVI
Tournament series record 1–0 1–0
Tournament map record 2–0 2–0
Opening-round opponent 1win G2
Rounds won 26 26
Rounds lost 6 11
Round differential +20 +15
Opening-round map pick Cache Cache
Highest opening-series rating ZywOo, 1.92 w0nderful, 1.48

Both teams won their own pick and their opponent’s selection. That gives the upcoming match a useful starting point: neither needed a decider, and neither arrived with an obvious opening-round map failure to address.

ZywOo leads Vitality, while NAVI receive contributions across the lineup

The following statistics cover each team’s opening BO3 only, across both maps. They use the same Rating 3.0 system.

Player Team K-D K-D difference ADR KAST Rating 3.0
ZywOo Vitality 37–11 +26 98.8 87.5% 1.92
flameZ Vitality 28–15 +13 86.5 84.4% 1.64
ropz Vitality 27–16 +11 99.2 78.1% 1.63
mezii Vitality 25–19 +6 77.2 84.4% 1.23
apEX Vitality 20–16 +4 72.6 87.5% 1.21
w0nderful NAVI 33–11 +22 78.1 89.2% 1.48
iM NAVI 30–21 +9 90.1 91.9% 1.37
b1t NAVI 34–20 +14 90.8 75.7% 1.33
makazze NAVI 27–21 +6 76.1 83.8% 1.29
Aleksib NAVI 20–15 +5 67.4 86.5% 1.25

ZywOo’s +26 kill differential was the clearest individual advantage in Vitality’s opener, but flameZ and ropz also finished above a 1.60 rating. NAVI therefore face a lineup whose opening performance extended well beyond its AWPer.

NAVI’s distribution was more even: every player finished with a positive kill differential and a rating of at least 1.25. w0nderful combined 33 kills with only 11 deaths, while b1t and iM supplied the team’s highest damage averages.

The AWP matchup deserves attention, but the rifle exchanges could be just as important. NAVI will need b1t, iM and makazze to maintain their output against a substantially more demanding opponent. These remain two-map samples, rather than established tournament trends.

Vitality bring a winning run; NAVI seek confirmation of their recovery

Vitality enter the matchup after winning their last three series, including the StarSeries title match. NAVI’s victory over G2 followed two defeats at the same September tournament.

Team Date Opponent Result Event / Stage
Vitality October 3 1win 2–0 W ESL Pro League S24, Swiss round 1
Vitality September 20 Aurora 3–1 W StarSeries Fall, grand final
Vitality September 20 FURIA 2–0 W StarSeries Fall, consolidation final
NAVI October 3 G2 2–0 W ESL Pro League S24, Swiss round 1
NAVI September 18 MOUZ 1–2 L StarSeries Fall, lower bracket round 1
NAVI September 17 Aurora 0–2 L StarSeries Fall, upper bracket quarterfinal

Vitality’s recent wins over FURIA and Aurora provide evidence of form against leading opposition. For NAVI, the G2 result represents an encouraging response to their early StarSeries exit. Beating Vitality would make that recovery considerably more convincing.

Cache gives both teams a reason to welcome the same map

Cache is the most immediate point of overlap in their opening-round vetoes: both teams selected it and won.

Map Vitality’s EPL S24 result NAVI’s EPL S24 result
Cache 13–5 vs 1win 13–7 vs G2
Dust2 13–1 vs 1win Not played
Inferno Not played 13–4 vs G2

Vitality removed Ancient in their opener, and NAVI did the same against G2. Those decisions suggest Ancient could again be expendable, although one veto per team is insufficient to establish a fixed pattern.

Dust2 offers another potential decision for NAVI. Vitality dominated the map against 1win, while NAVI removed it later in their first-round veto. Cache, by contrast, offers both teams a recent positive reference.

The shared comfort on Cache makes it a plausible battleground, but no map selection is confirmed. The table shows event results rather than win percentages because each listed map has only a one-map sample.

NAVI won the latest meeting, but the rivalry has moved on

The teams’ most recent meeting came in May, when NAVI defeated Vitality at IEM Atlanta.

Map scores below are shown from Vitality’s perspective.

Date Event Result Maps
May 16, 2026 IEM Atlanta NAVI 2–1 Vitality Dust2 13–11, Anubis 11–13, Inferno 3–13
May 3, 2026 BLAST Rivals Season 1 Vitality 3–0 NAVI Nuke 16–12, Anubis 13–11, Dust2 13–3
April 17, 2026 IEM Rio Vitality 2–0 NAVI Mirage 13–4, Dust2 13–6

Atlanta gives NAVI evidence that they can win this matchup, including a particularly convincing Inferno result. Vitality’s preceding victories also show why one successful series should not be treated as a lasting advantage.

Several months separate those encounters from Katowice. NAVI’s current lineup of Aleksib, iM, b1t, w0nderful and makazze must be judged primarily on its present form; the October 3 win over G2 is the more immediate reference.

Falcons–Aurora and FURIA–MOUZ test the other unbeaten contenders

Falcons opened with a 2–0 victory over TYLOO, but their Mirage win was relatively close at 13–11. Aurora also faced resistance on Mirage, beating 9z 13–11 after a dominant 13–3 Dust2 opener.

Their meeting therefore offers a useful test of how well each team handles tighter games against stronger opposition. Aurora’s kyxsan also faces his former organization, adding a personal storyline to the series.

FURIA and MOUZ both arrive with 2–0 map records, although their opening paths differed. MOUZ conceded 15 rounds against M80. FURIA conceded 19 against BETBOOM and needed overtime on Cache after recovering from a 4–11 deficit.

YEKINDAR was central to FURIA’s victory, finishing with 50–30 K-D, 110.2 ADR and a 1.66 rating. His output gives FURIA a strong attacking reference, while their Cache comeback demonstrates resilience. MOUZ’s cleaner scoreline offers a contrasting starting point, particularly after their seven-round second-half shutout on Mirage against M80.

G2 and BETBOOM need a response before elimination pressure arrives

G2’s match against 1win pairs two teams that struggled heavily in their openers. G2 won only 11 rounds against NAVI; 1win managed six against Vitality. A victory restores either team to 1–1, while another defeat leaves no room for further losses.

BETBOOM face M80 after missing an opportunity to force a third map against FURIA. Their Cache collapse makes closing out an advantage the most immediate concern. M80, meanwhile, need to improve on an opener in which MOUZ controlled both maps.

By the end of the second round, four teams will hold 2–0 records and sit one victory from the playoffs. Four others will be 0–2 and facing elimination in their next match. Vitality–NAVI closes the unbeaten-pool schedule at 16:30 UTC, with the winner joining Spirit in qualification territory.
