Valve Confirms Final Date for StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Sticker Capsule Sales in CS2

Valve has officially confirmed when StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 sticker capsules will disappear from Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). According to the announcement, players will only be able to purchase the capsules until March 15, 2026, after which they will be permanently removed from the in-game store.

The Budapest Major capsules contain team stickers and player autograph stickers from the tournament participants, making them one of the main collectibles associated with the event.

The sticker capsules were originally released ahead of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, giving fans the opportunity to collect signatures and team logos from every roster attending the tournament.

Like previous CS Majors, the Budapest sticker lineup was tied to the Viewer Pass and Pick’Em Challenge, allowing players to earn event coins, make match predictions, and unlock souvenir packages.

After the Major concluded, Valve also released a Budapest Champions Autograph Capsule dedicated to the tournament winners, Team Vitality.

For collectors and traders in the CS2 skin market, the March 15 deadline marks the final opportunity to buy these capsules directly from the in-game store before they become limited items.

Team Vitality Won the Budapest Major

The StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 took place between November 24 and December 14, 2025 in Budapest, Hungary. Early stages of the competition were held at MTK Sportpark, while the playoffs were played at the MVM Dome arena.

Team Vitality ultimately won the tournament, securing another Major title for the organization and continuing its dominant run in Counter-Strike.

Following the victory, Vitality superstar Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut commented on the team’s form:

“When Vitality are playing like this, no one can challenge us.”

Team captain Dan “apEX” Madesclaire also reflected on the achievement after the win:

“I didn’t expect that one day I’d have four Majors under my belt.”
