Lotan “Spinx” Giladi finished as the highest-rated player of the ESL Pro League Season 23 Stage 2 in Counter-Strike 2, outperforming Team Spirit’s Danil “donk” Kryshkovets in the final statistical standings.
Despite another dominant individual showing from the young Russian star, donk closed the Swiss stage with a 1.41 rating, which placed him second overall. Spinx topped the leaderboard with a 1.48 rating, while Spirit AWPer Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov secured third place with a 1.30 rating.

Team Spirit delivered one of the strongest performances of the stage, finishing 3-0 in the Stage 2 Swiss group. The roster secured victories against:

The win against G2 guaranteed Spirit a place in the ESL Pro League Season 23 LAN playoffs in Stockholm.

donk: Spirit Showing Progress After Bootcamp
Prior to the second stage of the tournament, donk commented on the team’s preparation and intensive practice schedule.
According to the Team Spirit rifler, the roster had been working extensively to improve its form ahead of the event.
“We are working a lot. There is almost no time to rest, but we are already seeing improvements and some progress in our game.”
The comments came after Spirit gathered for a bootcamp leading up to ESL Pro League.
magixx Explains Spirit Bootcamp Decision
Team Spirit player Boris “magixx” Vorobyev also discussed why the team organized a bootcamp before the tournament.
According to him, the opportunity appeared because the team finally had enough time in its schedule.
“The bootcamp turned out to be very useful for us, especially for such a new lineup.”
He added that the idea was suggested by teammate Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia after returning to the active roster.

The event also produced several unexpected results during the group stage. Former professional player Andrey “Jerry” Mekhryakov suggested that the packed Counter-Strike tournament calendar may be affecting top teams.
“The answer is obvious — there are simply too many tournaments.”
According to Jerry, the busy schedule leads to fatigue and inconsistent performances from some favorites.

Although donk finished second in the Stage 2 rating rankings, the Spirit star remains one of the most impactful players in CS2. His performances throughout the tournament have been a key factor in Spirit’s success.
