Senzu and mzinho rack up eight aces at FISSURE Playground 2

Although The MongolZ fell short in the final, Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold and Ayush “mzinho” Batbold lit up the tournament in Belgrade. Each claimed four aces over the event — matching the Big Event aces record first set by s1mple at IEM Cologne 2021.

Tournament context & significance

The event, FISSURE Playground 2, ran from September 12 to 21, 2025, in Belgrade, Serbia, and featured 16 teams in a Swiss stage followed by single-elimination playoffs.

The prize pool stood at $1,250,000, with $500,000 going to players and $750,000 to clubs.

FURIA captured the title after a hard-fought 3–2 victory over The MongolZ in the grand final — their first-ever Big Event triumph after 38 attempts.

With that win, FURIA secured $200,000 for first place, while The MongolZ earned $100,000 as runners-up.

After the decider, FURIA’s Yuri “yuurih” Santos reflected on the long journey:

“KSCERATO and I have been trying for years … And being here, winning a tournament… I have no words.”

His teammate KSCERATO also faced personal hardship: his grandfather passed away during the event, making the victory emotionally charged.  Other players spoke of the sacrifices behind the scenes — from missed weddings to family time lost.

FURIA’s molodoy was named MVP — he posted a standout +28 kill‑to‑death differential and put in 99 kills across the final series.

How Senzu & mzinho’s aces came to be

The two Mongolian stars didn’t just flash highlights — their aces had impact in key moments:

mzinho started strong versus TYLOO, earning two aces in the same map: one via Dual Elites in pistol, the other striking on a full-buy setup with no armor.

Senzu initiated the match versus FaZe with a Glock ace on Mirage, helping The MongolZ take that map 13–11.

In the semifinal against Liquid, mzinho secured two pistol‑round aces: one on Mirage, another on the Ancient decider.

In the final, Senzu matched mzinho’s total with three aces:
A pistol ace on Inferno, fuelling a comeback to win 13–11
An anti-economy ace on the Dust2 decider
And a blazing 30‑bullet spray on Nuke against a full‑buy FURIA side — denying their push, helping The MongolZ rally from 3–12 to force overtime (though FURIA won in the extra rounds).

That 30‑bullet spray is perhaps their standout highlight, showing not just mechanical skill but timing and momentum control.

By each reaching four aces, Senzu and mzinho now share the Big Event ace record alongside s1mple, donk, and malbsMd
