ropz Climbs to No. 2 on CS2 All-Time Titles List After Vitality’s IEM Rio Triumph
Robin “ropz” Kool has officially become the second most decorated player in Counter-Strike history, following Team Vitality’s dominant victory at IEM Rio 2026. The Estonian rifler now holds 34 major titles, surpassing Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen and trailing only teammate Dan “apEX” Madesclaire in the all-time rankings.
The milestone was reached after Vitality secured both the IEM Rio 2026 trophy and the ESL Grand Slam, marking one of the most successful runs in modern CS2 competition.
Vitality Dominate 2026 Season With Grand Slam Win
Vitality defeated Team Spirit in a convincing 3-0 grand final, capping off a flawless playoff run. With this victory, the team became the first in Counter-Strike history to win two ESL Grand Slams, further solidifying their era of dominance.
This Rio triumph marks Vitality’s fourth major title of 2026, following earlier wins at:
PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026
BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026
Another S-tier international event earlier in the season
The roster has consistently outperformed top-tier teams like NAVI, FURIA, and Spirit throughout the year.
apEX: “We Want to Be Perfect”
Despite the clean 3-0 win in the final, in-game leader Dan “apEX” Madesclaire made it clear the team is still striving for more:
“The secret is to work hard, to always stay one step ahead and to have these amazing players.”
“Even though we won 3-0, I was mad because we lost too many bad rounds. I want us to be perfect all the time.”
His comments highlight the mindset behind Vitality’s continued dominance and their relentless push for perfection.
ropz Steps Out of ZywOo’s Shadow With MVP-Level Form
While Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut remains the team’s superstar, 2026 has also become a breakout year for ropz.
At BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, ropz claimed the MVP award with a standout playoff performance, becoming the first Vitality player outside of ZywOo to earn that honor in a major event.
ZywOo later admitted the moment was personal:
“My ego got a bit hurt,” he said, acknowledging ropz’s performance before praising his teammate.
He also emphasized the team’s unstoppable momentum:
“We already won four trophies this year and it feels like we can’t stop.”
At IEM Rio, however, ZywOo responded by securing another MVP title, bringing his total to 31 career MVP awards.
ropz Reacts to karrigan’s Departure
Amid his rise in the rankings, ropz also reflected on the departure of former FaZe Clan leader Finn “karrigan” Andersen, who recently joined Team Falcons.
In a public message, ropz wrote:
“You’re one of the greatest leaders and minds the game has ever seen.”
The statement underscores the influence karrigan had on ropz’s career during their time together in FaZe.
Updated CS2 All-Time Titles Ranking

What’s Next for ropz?
With Vitality showing no signs of slowing down, ropz is now within reach of the all-time record. If the team maintains its current form, the Estonian could realistically challenge for the No. 1 spot before the end of the CS2 competitive cycle.
For now, however, one thing is clear:
ropz is no longer just a consistent star — he is officially one of the most successful players in Counter-Strike history.
