OG Rebuild CS2 Roster With Ex3rcice, nut nut and Chucky

OG Rebuild CS2 Roster With Ex3rcice, nut nut and Chucky

OG have launched another major rebuild of their Counter-Strike 2 project, signing Pierre “Ex3rcice” Bulinge, Martin “nut nut” Holm Vestergaard and Jordan “Chucky” Molnar to complete a new five-man lineup.

The trio joins Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro and Olle “spooke” Grundström in the starting roster. As part of the overhaul, Casper “cadiaN” Møller and Luca “pr1metapz” Voigt have been moved to the bench, while bodyy takes over as OG’s in-game leader.

The changes go beyond a conventional roster shuffle. OG acknowledged that rebuilding around a new core requires a reset in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), meaning the organization now intends to rebuild its competitive position through open LAN events.

What Happened to OG's CS2 Roster?

OG announced three additions at once, bringing in Ex3rcice, nut nut and Chucky as the organization effectively starts another chapter of its CS2 project.

The move follows Adam “adamb” Ångström's September transfer to Ninjas in Pyjamas. OG has now gone considerably further than simply replacing adamb: cadiaN and pr1metapz have also been removed from the active lineup.

The result is a new international five:

Player Nationality Status / known responsibility
Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro France IGL, on loan from 3DMAX
Olle “spooke” Grundström Sweden Returning starter
Pierre “Ex3rcice” Bulinge France New signing
Martin “nut nut” Holm Vestergaard Denmark New signing
Jordan “Chucky” Molnar Belgium AWPer
Lambert “Lambert” Prigent France Coach

Benched: cadiaN and pr1metapz. HLTV lists pr1metapz as being on loan from Sangal.

This leaves OG with only bodyy and spooke from the lineup that preceded the overhaul.

bodyy Replaces cadiaN as OG's IGL

Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro will take over OG's in-game leadership duties following cadiaN's move to the bench.

One of the most consequential changes is happening away from the transfer column.

bodyy will assume the in-game leadership duties previously held by cadiaN.

That changes OG's structure considerably. cadiaN had combined leadership with AWPing, whereas those responsibilities are now split: bodyy will lead while Chucky becomes the dedicated AWPer.

There is also an existing connection inside the rebuilt lineup. bodyy and Ex3rcice have previously played together under 3DMAX, DBL PONEY and LDLC, potentially giving OG at least one established relationship as three new players enter the team simultaneously.

Why OG Chose Another Rebuild

OG's Head of Esports, Tutouan Merloz, framed the change as a shift in organizational strategy.

The organization had attempted to accelerate its route toward Tier 1 competition at the end of 2025 with the addition of cadiaN and FL4MUS. According to Merloz, that project failed to reach the ambitions OG had established for it.

He also indicated that OG and cadiaN had different ideas about how a winning roster should be constructed.

Instead, OG is returning to a development-oriented approach.

That distinction is important. The new lineup should therefore not necessarily be judged as an attempt to assemble five established Tier 1 names. OG is betting on player development, chemistry and competitive progression while rebuilding its position through lower-level and open LAN competition.

The organization pointed toward the development of players such as Chr1zN, adamb and spooke as examples of the model it wants to follow.

The Three New OG Players

Ex3rcice reunites with bodyy

Pierre “Ex3rcice” Bulinge reunites with bodyy as part of OG's three-player roster overhaul.

Ex3rcice brings familiarity to the new project because of his previous history alongside bodyy.

Their shared periods at 3DMAX, DBL PONEY and LDLC make Ex3rcice the newcomer with the clearest pre-existing competitive connection to OG's new IGL.

That familiarity could matter during the opening weeks, when OG will simultaneously be implementing bodyy's leadership system and integrating three additions.

His precise tactical responsibilities in the new OG system have not yet been detailed publicly and should therefore remain TBD until the lineup begins playing officials.

nut nut returns after competitive inactivity

nut nut arrives after being placed on ECSTATIC's transfer list in July.

According to HLTV's figures cited at the time of the transfer, the Danish player averaged a 1.13 rating across 98 maps in 2026, although he had not played an official match since April.

That creates a different question from the other additions: not simply how he fits OG tactically, but how quickly he can regain official-match rhythm.

His exact role in the new lineup remains TBD.

Chucky becomes OG's new AWPer

Chucky has the clearest defined role among the three signings: he will take over as OG's AWPer.

The Belgian arrives after playing for GenOne and producing a 1.18 average rating across 335 maps in 2026 according to HLTV's report. Most of those matches came online, but his limited LAN sample was also encouraging: a 1.21 rating across 27 maps.

Those numbers provide a reason for interest, but they should not automatically be projected onto OG. Playing under a new IGL, against different opposition and within a new team structure creates a substantially different competitive environment.

Roman Imperium Cup IX will provide the first real evidence of how Chucky's output translates.

Why the OG Rebuild Matters

The most important element of the announcement is arguably not any individual signing.

It is OG's willingness to accept a VRS reset.

OG explicitly acknowledged that changing its core means starting again in Valve's ranking ecosystem and said it plans to attend as many open LAN events as possible in an effort to climb back.

HLTV's current OG team page consequently shows no VRS position for the new core, while its HLTV world ranking is listed at No. 75. Those are separate ranking systems and should not be conflated.

This makes the coming months particularly important. OG needs more than promising individual performances: the organization must establish the new core through official results.

Tactical Impact: Leadership and AWP Duties Split

The clearest tactical change is structural.

With cadiaN out of the starting five, OG no longer has one player simultaneously serving as its primary AWPer and in-game leader. Instead, bodyy handles leadership and Chucky takes the AWP.

That could change how responsibilities are distributed during rounds, although conclusions about OG's pace, calling style, CT positions or map-specific roles would be premature before the team plays officials.

The key tactical questions are therefore straightforward: how much freedom will Chucky receive, how will bodyy balance individual play with calling, and where will Ex3rcice and nut nut fit around spooke?

Those answers should begin emerging at Roman Imperium Cup IX.

Tournament Impact: Roman Imperium Cup IX Is the First Test

OG will not have to wait long to debut.

Roman Imperium Cup IX runs from October 7–10 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, with 16 teams and a $13,628 prize pool listed by HLTV. The event uses round-robin best-of-one group play before moving to double-elimination best-of-three playoffs.

OG is scheduled into Group A alongside PURE, Orion Wanderers, Falcons Force, SINQU and G2 Ares. Its opening day currently includes five BO1 matches, beginning against PURE.

That makes the tournament unusually useful as an initial evaluation. Rather than a single series, OG should receive multiple immediate tests of its map preparation and ability to adapt with a newly assembled roster.

OG's scheduled October 7 group matches

Opponent Scheduled time* Format
PURE 10:00 BO1
Orion Wanderers 11:15 BO1
Falcons Force 12:30 BO1
SINQU 13:45 BO1
G2 Ares 15:00 BO1

Impact Analysis

Short term: OG faces the usual disadvantages of a three-player overhaul: limited preparation time, new communication patterns and undefined chemistry. nut nut also enters without a recent official-match sample.

Medium term: the priority becomes establishing a stable core and accumulating meaningful results. OG has explicitly identified open LAN participation as part of its route back up the VRS.

Long term: this rebuild represents a strategic test for the organization. Instead of attempting to accelerate immediately toward Tier 1 through established leadership, OG is returning to a development model.

That makes player progression as important as immediate tournament placement.

What Changes Now for OG?

The hierarchy of the team has changed significantly.

bodyy becomes the central leadership figure. Chucky assumes primary AWP duties. Ex3rcice reunites with a familiar teammate in bodyy, while nut nut returns to official competition after several months without recorded matches.

Meanwhile, cadiaN and pr1metapz remain under the OG umbrella but outside the active five. Their longer-term futures have not been announced and therefore remain TBD.

Most importantly, OG now needs to build results with this specific core rather than rely on the competitive standing accumulated by its previous lineup.

What to Watch Next

The first checkpoint is Roman Imperium Cup IX on October 7.

Beyond wins and losses, several indicators should reveal whether the rebuild has a foundation: bodyy's adaptation to full IGL duties, Chucky's transition from GenOne to OG, nut nut's form after his competitive break, and how quickly the three newcomers develop chemistry with spooke.

The VRS rebuild will be another major storyline. OG has already made clear that open LAN attendance will form part of its strategy, so future event registrations may tell us as much about the project's direction as its first results.
