OG Bench arrozdoce Before BC.Game Masters 2026 as CS2 Roster Changes Continue

OG have officially benched Rafael “arrozdoce” Wing ahead of the BC.Game Masters Championship Season 2, marking another major CS2 roster move for the European organization. The decision comes just days before the LAN tournament in Portugal and raises new questions about OG’s future heading into the second half of the 2026 Counter-Strike 2 season.

According to HLTV.org, the Portuguese rifler has been removed from the active lineup after spending roughly nine months with the team. OG have not yet announced a permanent replacement.

OG Continue CS2 Rebuild After Disappointing Results

The roster move follows a difficult stretch for OG in CS2 competition. Despite showing signs of improvement earlier this year, the team failed to maintain momentum in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) and missed qualification for the IEM Cologne Major cycle.

OG recently suffered disappointing exits at BC.Game Masters Championship qualifiers and Roman Imperium Cup VII, results that pushed the roster further down the global rankings. The organization currently sits outside the elite tier of Counter-Strike teams after briefly climbing back into relevance during the spring season.

The benching of arrozdoce is the latest chapter in OG’s ongoing rebuild around veteran in-game leader Casper Møller.

arrozdoce’s Time in OG

arrozdoce initially joined OG in August 2025 after a short stand-in period that included a victory at CCT Season 3 Europe Series 4. At the time, the move was viewed as an opportunity for the Portuguese player to revive his career following a difficult stint with Ninjas in Pyjamas.

HLTV report on OG signing arrozdoce noted that OG believed the rifler still had significant upside despite inconsistent form.

During his tenure, arrozdoce averaged a 1.02 rating in 2026 competition, but the team struggled to deliver consistent deep playoff runs.

OG’s Best Result Came With bodyy Stand-In Addition

OG’s strongest performance of the year came during Roman Imperium Cup VI after the temporary addition of Alexandre Pianaro from 3DMAX.

The international roster defeated BC.Game, Nexus, JiJieHao and Team Liquid on the way to the grand final before eventually losing to Ninjas in Pyjamas.

That run significantly boosted OG’s VRS ranking and temporarily placed the organization back into Major qualification conversations.

Following the event, bodyy praised cadiaN’s leadership style in an interview with HLTV.org:

“I really enjoy the way Casper is calling.”

bodyy explained that cadiaN gives players freedom while maintaining strong tactical structure and communication.

cadiaN later admitted that OG still lacked enough LAN experience compared to top-tier Counter-Strike teams. Speaking to HLTV.org, the Danish IGL said:

“We need to go to more LANs.”

arrozdoce’s Career: From SAW Major History to NIP and OG

Before joining OG, arrozdoce became one of Portugal’s breakout CS2 players during his time with SAW.

He helped SAW become the first all-Portuguese roster to qualify for a Counter-Strike Major, later telling HLTV:

“We conquered something that Portugal never had.”

After SAW’s elimination at PGL Major Copenhagen, arrozdoce reflected on the team’s collapse following a strong start:

“We were afraid to play, maybe, and that gave space to the teams to abuse us.”

The player later transferred to Ninjas in Pyjamas before eventually landing in OG’s international project.

In a previous HLTV interview, arrozdoce discussed the difficulty of transitioning into English communication and adapting to a star-player role in international Counter-Strike. He also stated that he believed the NIP project had top-10 potential despite poor rankings at the time.

Current OG CS2 Roster

OG’s active Counter-Strike 2 lineup currently consists of:

Olle Grundström

Adam Ångström

Casper Møller

Alexandre Pianaro (loan from 3DMAX)

Lambert Prigent (coach)

Bench:

Rafael Wing

With BC.Game Masters Championship Season 2 approaching, OG are now expected to reveal either a stand-in or permanent fifth player soon. The organization’s next move could determine whether cadiaN’s rebuilding project can still compete for top-tier Counter-Strike relevance in 2026.
